The vegetarian option is APPALLING I did not know and was not made aware that you have to request vegetarian sandwhiches 24 hours in advance i mean come on that's generally the easiest to cater for. So myslef and my guest had to eat 5 overly cream cheesed and cucumber sandwhiches as NOTHING else could be made aside from egg or tuna which wasn't appealing either. I was also told no second serving are allwoed for sandwhiches anymore whereas beforehand you could and also no refills on scones. It honestly used to be so much better. The service is amazing regardless and what we had did taste great but still unfortunate it wasn't as great as it used to be."

I had a wonderful afternoon at the restaurant. The scones were exceptionally well-made, and the clotted cream, homemade strawberry jam, and caramel were excellent choices.

While the hearty meals were enjoyable, there wasn't enough food served, especially when it came to the cake. Many diners nearby requested additional sandwiches, which shouldn't have been necessary considering the cost.

We went there to have an afternoon tea with my family, it was a great experience, staff is friendly and professional.. we had sandwiches, lots of delicious pastries and scones, and they have wonderful teas, all in all, it was awesome. We will do it again next time will be back in London.

The venue was absolutely stunning and ideal for my parents' 80th birthday celebration. The sandwiches and brioche rolls were beautifully prepared and generously filled, while the scones and cakes were simply delightful. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with plenty of food and tea! We decided to take what we couldn’t eat back home but we’re given huge boxes to pack the food into. We asked for smaller boxes but they said they don’t have any . This was a shame as it didn’t seem sustainable to give us such big boxes. A recommendation would be to provide smaller boxes to customers.

The Podium was a very nice restaurant. Had a lovely table by the window, the staff were very attentive polite and friendly, and made my niece’s day by piping happy birthday onto a plate with a cake and candle in it. Very grateful for that. The sandwiches and cakes were fresh , tasty and delicious. The only negative I had at the beginning were the noisy small children on two tables near us.

What an absolutely amazing tea! Surpassed all our expectations. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were attentive and thoughtful and even sang happy birthday to my mum. They catered so well for the children too-such attention to detail they were even more impressed by their tea than the adults were with theirs! . The teddy bears were the icing on the cake ! They are still getting a lot of love over 3 weeks later. Thank you for helping to make a special afternoon even more special.

as expected was eating well, unfortunately we do not have the service so great. when we were in the hilton park lane, the employees were unsafe and not as good as it should be. I'm not a one to complain about, but we're a little disappointed. not all the employees were so, the chap in the suit that welcomed us knew what he did, but the other employees not so much! this service would have been accepted in a travel lodge or similar, but not the hilton! what you should do is give the option to the customers before they include it with the final bill.
