Don’t judge a book by a cover. Take the menu, and order. Food is great, worth a visit! Easy and simpel menu, fresh fish from the grill, very good and tasty!

this is a small authentic Italian restaurant. service was exceptional and eating was delizioso! would highly recommend this restaurant and may not expect to go again. great value for money.

Although this place is completely far off from the „in areas“ of Cologne it is a place to go. Maybe this is even the reason why? Honest Italian atmosphere meaning lovely but not posh furniture, excellent nice service and a high level of tasty and...quality food from the Italian kitchen. Just for the records: reservations and payment by cards possible.

The opinion is mainly based on the selected courses and focused just on the meal. We chose burrata as a starter and two pasta main dishes, the pasta frutti di mare and pasta with pfifferlinge. The burrata was just ok and a bit small, but...not super tasty. The pfifferlinge was quite good but not impressing. The really best was the fresh frutti di mare pasta, really awesome and tasty, at the moment one of the best frutti di mare I ever ate. Before the starters they brought us a black olive tapenade with some bread slices, delicous tapenade!

first we thought we had arrived from the outside in a take-away restaurant, but after step in sight and see the red candles on the tables, the very beautiful decorations on the wall and the cigar box on the bar we knew we were in a small but cozy Italian restaurant. the owner and his wife work hard and showed us the menu of today on a chalkboard. some brot with fresh tapenade front. my partner had pasta al norma with auberginen and I had tortelinni with lachs. both were very, very good! I could not try the weeping or the desserts (because of pregnancy), but they looked promising. I really recommend this restaurant.

I am a little bit late in sharing this as we visited in December when in Cologne for the Christmas markets. We searched through trip advisor on our Ipad whilst we were there and come across Al Solio Posto, which was a lucky find. The...restaurant was fairly quite the time we arrived as it was towards the end of the evening. In fact this was nice as we had a lovely chat with the owner and his son who translated our conversation for us. This is a family run restaurant and Mama was the cook. The food and wine was delicious and well worth the taxi ride to it. We would have loved to talked to them longer as there story on how they ended up from Italy to Germany was so interesting.
