"Wir gehen seit ca. 20 Jahren einmal im Jahr nach Locarno und essen dann IMMER im Al Torchio. Das mag für manche langweilig und einfaltslos klingen, für uns gibt es dort einfach das beste Essen und wir sind jedes Mal wieder total zufrieden. Eine "piatta ticinese", oder einen "insalat caprese" als Vorspeise und anschliessend eine der leckeren Pizzen - einfach genial. Freundliches Personal und, falls es mal regnen sollte, eine grosse Markise, machen den Besuch dort bei jedem Wetter zu einem Genuss."

Food selection great. However, the quality is not at the top level (fries a bit bland and not quite cooked through. Staff not quite on point, but friendly. Location on the lake is great.

Nice restaurant with a terrace by the lake, which can also be closed so that you can sit there even in the rain and other weather. Unfortunately everything is a bit tight, so you sit very tight. The food was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. View menu

Sat down by chance, but would love to come back. Had Caprese and my companion had the Pasta al Salmone. We enjoyed it very much. Right on the lake or on the street, you just have to be lucky. Not everyone can speak German or English, but they understand each other with their hands and feet. The ice cream is delicious too.

Auf Grund meiner Recherche bei Tripadvisor wurde mir dieses Lokal vorgeschlagen. Ich kann die hervorragende Bewertung nur bestätigen. Top Service, freundlich, zuvorkommend. Sehr gute Speisekarte. Nach kürzester Zeit wurde die Bestellung geliefert. Pizza Prosciutto Crudo - wie sie mediterraner nicht geht. Sehr grosse Portion. Dito die Spaghetti Vongole meiner Kollegin. Das Finish mit Caffee und Grappa. Sehr empfehlenswert!
