"A bit pressed for time. It has been a while since I was there New Year's Eve to be exact. And it was always on my mind to write a review of this restaurant and the experiences we (a group of four) had when we booked their special New Years Eve dinner set menu. The food was OK, not exceptionally or different from some Lebanese fast food outlets (besides the baklava !! but what annoyed us most was that the waiters were removing our dishes or wine glasses as soon as they were empty. And they were waiting just next to our table until we have finished. We felt very uncomfortable. When we asked what the time pressure is about they were claiming there is none. honestly, not so impressed. I love eating Lebanese, but this restaurant did not make it right. too expensive to say. I wouldn't be back.

This was, without any doubt, my favorite Lebanese meal ever! I can’t wait to go back! Strongly recommended for the exceptional quality of the food.

a beautiful, clean, beautifully decorated restaurant. eating was excellent and service was good. the prices were very reasonable, I would definitely visit more often if I lived closer.

I've been wanting to get out of my rut of Lebanese restaurants in London, consisting of Fakhreldine and Noura both definitely at the posh end of restaurants, let alone Lebanese ones. Fakhreldine, post their major refurb some years ago which removed the

Al Waha’s a delightful place. Rather old-fashioned now, perhaps, a bit early-oughties, a little stiff and starched like a formal elderly gentleman. But they prepare lamb like few other restaurants, and I do not say that lightly. Perhaps it’s time for a photo.

Since taking on a vegan lifestyle just over 3 months ago, I have become a hummus expert: I make it, I perfect it, I go out and sample it. So when my mother said that my hummus was great but there was an even smoother hummus out there in one little Lebanese restaurant in Bayswater, I had to go and see it for myself – does it have the M-Factor though?!

as good as it will.. as Lebanese, I can say this is the best libanesin in london. the mezze is absolutely amazing! Al-waha manages to make even humblely exciting, its version is smooth and rich with tahini. Taste the cheese sambusak, roasted kibbeh balls and arayes (tained lamb on flat brot). every single plate they have will be a tasty bite. we are regularly at Al-waha and look forward to our next visit there!

funny enough (I live in london, I should be able to eat these things if I please, now I came to eat lebanese much less than I used to go home. in the average it is more expensive than most other kitchens: not the easiest thing they can order when on a budget. when my elders came to visit and asked me where I should eat good Lebanese food for dinner, my mind pulled an empty one. noura is at the top of a scale I don't know I can ever climb. maroush cries knightsbridge to me and cash, that is not a good omen. then I remembered al waha, and all Rave reviews I had read about it. best Lebanese cuisine in london and good value for money? sounds like...read more

I eat every week here. the stubborn and tabbouleh are clinging to my diet together with weeping leaves, fatoush salat and the halloumi. the cold mezze is always fresh and so incredibly delicious. the pitta as small and puffier than the typical glorified paper pitas they tend to come elsewhere. they say goodbye to my order with mini-Bokavas, which are just the right mix of sweet and salty. I have probably eaten fifty times here (especially, but also in the beautifully made restaurant) it was always amazing and my main reason not to go even more often is that they know me so well that it becomes embarrassing that only my names say instantly makes them know what my order will be.
