"Unique place in the center of the city!! The decoration inside is very northern. You feel like the Christmas is just around the corner. The food is excellent!! You can pick anything on the menu, you will be very pleased. The selection of wines is very good!!The staff is friendly. But the owner could be moody sometimes. He didn't let us stay inside the restaurant, after we just finished the business dinner with 15 people and spent quiet good amount of money. Even it was a closing time, we had to wait for taxi for 20 min. He told us, that need to wait outside of the restaurant and it was poring rain and cold. NOT GOOD Attitude for regular customers!!I recommend the place just because of the good food!!"

I've been coming here at least once a month for the past 3 years, service is never short of excellent with English spoken fluently. The fondue is very good with quality cuts of meat and a great desert menu. View menu

Great little restaurant. Great food and excellent service. Highly recommended. You wil be transported to a chalet in the French Alps once you walk inside this cozy restaurant. We'll be back next year! Merci!

Yes do it, why not, its such a great break from the usual seaside food fayre. We went with our 2 kids and what more fun can you have then a cage of fire, melting cheese and baskets of potatoes. The owners are most hospitable, we all loved it. A must for everyone staying in the area for more than 3 days.

Finding this restaurant was a right little gem. Absolutely fabulous service with the waiter translating the menu for us. The food was tremendous the way it was presented and tasted was second to none. Properly the best restaurant we have visited in this area of France. If you are near by this is a must to try can not fault it! View menu

We visited l'Altitude for dinner and had a great time. The food is really fantastic, with typical dishes from Savoie. We tried some fondue savoyarde with some special hams and other charcuterie, as well as some tartiflette. All accompanied by nice wines from the same region. The portions are generous with great quality of meat and cheese. The decor brings you back in the mountains and reminds you of apres-ski ambiance. Finally the service is great. We had a fantastic evening.
