"On the positive side, the service at Amadeus was friendly and prompt and the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. But the cuisine is nothing better than average. The first course salads and the fish soup were good but this was balanced out by the...less than stellar main courses consumed by our party of four. The spaghetti in one dish was over-cooked and limp, not al dente. The pork strips in a heavy mushroom sauce served with fried potato pancakes was very ordinary and the schnitzel with fries was nothing special. But really, what can you do with schnitzel? The place is obviously very popular and reservations are recommended. I'm just not sure why."

great food service if a little expensive. Do not forget the “day specialties” board that always has some excellent options.

They took our reservation, asking us to come at When we arrived, the table was a bar perch, and the attitude was snotty. I would suggest to avoid the place. I would not trust them on the phone.

We had just left a relaxing soak in the Therm and found this place for an authentic German dinner. The hostess/waitress/owner? couldn't do enough for us. Quite accommodating. The food was very homey, comfort food.

Very popular restaurant in the city of Wiesbaden for different reasons. A very good service combined with a B+ quality of food. Had a cordon bleu which was served together with a great salad very filling. I was surprised for how cheap the bill...was after all the drinks we had! Worth the try!

We were returning from an out of town trip. On the way back, we phoned in our reservation for later in the evening. We arrived to find that they had saved one of the best locations for us. Service was friendly and the food delicious....We started with bread, wine and tapas. After that came fresh salads and later the entries. Everything was perfectly timed.

we are regular guests in the amadeus and we love it. the staff is very friendly and beautiful, eating is great and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. my man and I can also recommend this place for renting for exclusive celebration (e.g. birthday party or similar). the communication and organization was very good and we had an explosion at our high-time celebration!

very nice eating and ambiente in this neighboring restaurant in the west end of meadow bathing. recommend the Spanish tapas as the first cure or only the whole meal if they want. not pretentious-only a friendly place with good eating and reasonable praise. good. also for families with small children. this is a breath of fresh air if they want to go to eat only a normal place. highly recommended!

Lots of issues. Had a reservation, which at first was not going to be honored. One unfriendly waitress but another as sweet as can be. Ordered food, which was changed without consult because they were out. Grounds and interior were shabby. Food was surprisingly average.. almost poor. Not sure why this doesn't correlate with the other reviews. I'm just a random customer without any affiliation. Chose this restaurant because the others on the top list were booked.

this was a great way to spend the evening in the day after Christmas in meadows. I chose wisely the roasted duck breast with red cabbage and potato dumplings, which was really excellent (if only a little oversalted). the server was friendly, knowledgeable and had. a great sense of humor that made the evening so much more pleasant. the atmosphere of this local restaurant is warm and chic without being snobby and there were many families and older couples to go with the hipsters. a great night.
