"We were in the area so popped on for dinner 4th April. I'd like to congratulate thd Management for a nice, clean and welcoming pub. Outside there's a large carpark and tables to the side. Inside, you'll find different areas to sit; elevated tables with high stools, snugs (one with club chairs) and more formal dining tables all nicely laid waiting for diners. We were pleasantly surprised to find all burgers at £9.95 on Wednesdays, so I had one. Yum. My Wife had the chilli which was very good as well, although the rice could've been warmer. The beer's good, the wine choice good, the food's good. Our waitress, Katie was warm friendly. I can't eat nuts and mentioned this on my booking. The staff went out of their way to help which isn't always the case so I was impressed. Highly recommended. A great pub."

my family came to a meal on Thursday, December 14th. we were a big party, 8 of us with two little ones. our food was excellent, we all cleaned our dishes. the staff was very busy, but the service was good a special thanks to the waitress who has found a chair for the king cong of grandson. many thanks for a beautiful meal.

The server was outstanding, deserving a gold star! The drinks were overpriced - £3.25 for a half pint of IPA and £6.45 for a glass of wine in an unmarked glass, making it difficult to gauge the quantity. The food prices were high for typical pub fare. The chili was good, but the chicken and bacon salad had tasteless chicken covered in a thick, hard coating. The portions of ice cream were small and not filled to the top with scoops.
