"we discovered this restaurant thanks to a gift wood, which included an entire degotation (with choice between meat and fish) from appetizer to dessert, including a different cup for each course. in addition to what is already included, we were kindly offered anentrée, plus a series of desserts at the end of the meal. welcomed the owner, discovering only at the end that his family managed this restaurant since 1984. and we discovered that his savoir-faire entertain the customer with a certain spontaneity is not all of us. the dishes are prepared all at the moment by the owner's mother, a lady of a certain age but with great experience in the kitchen (a perfect balance between Tuscany/Lucca and the Sicilian one of origin): presentation quite simple, but well balanced flavors and raw material of excellent quality (even the portions were right, only the cernia was a little too small). the prices are certainly not low, but correct compared to all the above listed and a really very present and attentive service to the details (precisely it was a very quiet evening). a little hidden from other restaurants much more touristy and exposed. Try it and you'll be thrilled!"

Fabulous food (possibly the most delicious pasta we've ever had) in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere, and clearly a favourite with locals. So good we went back the following night.

Expensive food. Very average. Nothing out of the ordinary. Service quite slow. Starter was duck ravioli with truffle (the best course) pigeon with polenta was tough and chewy; sea bass with courgette was bland. Disappointing could have been better.
