"this restaurant is located on a pleasant but touristy square of the marsh with some restaurants that mainly offer mediocre French dishes. the advantage of these places on the square is to sit outside, which is why we went there - we are two couples who live to bet. It was a sweet Friday night and many others had the same idea. When we sat at one of the tables on the terrace of this restaurant, we didn't realize it was a Japanese place. They have French dishes on the menu. the food we had was excellent. I ordered the teriyaki net and the shrimp dish and both were fresh and perfectly cooked. the nems (small imperial rollers) were made home and among the best I had. the sushi were also good and fresh, but you can find it everywhere betting, so I would go for the cooked dishes. That said, sushi menus at fixed prices were of a surprisingly good value. despite the fact that he was very busy, the service was correct. there are two things that this restaurant can do to get five stars and none is very difficult. the first is to enlarge the wine list to at least 5 reds, two whites and a rosé. our red wine was too hot, which is really not a good thing - you can buy an online wine refrigerator for 120 euros. and the wine itself, both bottle and carafe, was drinkable but not so good. The second thing is to invest in better tables and tablecloths: the furniture was a little sticky and the plastic sheets were sticky, even when they were clean. paper sheets would have been better. but the bases - location, quality and terrace are solid, so I would recommend this place and I would probably return to it in similar circumstances."

As this dinner experience got longer, the more I noticed and the less I liked this place.

food is simply great and it is located on a beautiful little square. Gyoza are the best I've ever had in my life.

Great location on nice square. Sushi was incredibly fresh and a surprising good value. Salmon was some of the best I've ever had. View menu

Smelling, dirty and very poor quality. It's a Japanese restaurant held by Chinese. My tuna tartar was almost rice, the sushi rolls had a disgusting taste. I didn't want to go to desserts. Save your money, go somewhere else.

You have sashimis of tin and salmon/vocado rolls. Everything was good but not great. I ate out on the terrace with a nice view on the square. The service was correct. they have a gas heating on the terrace which was appreciable in this season:-).

located on a small square of the marsh, aomori is a small restaurant with an outdoor terrace that is perfect for Japanese cuisine of a sweet summer evening. the gyoza input was excellent, not soft or rubbery as it sometimes is. The sushi was excellent, fresh and tasty. the only drawback - beers were not so cold, but it is a small reproach about a restaurant otherwise excellent. View menu

I spent about 3 hours here, first drinking with friends, then having a coffee and finally decided to have dinner too. service was fast and pleasant. 5 euros for a bottle of heineken is quite reasonable. I had a grilled salmon and vegetables that were pretty good and nice proportions for 16 euros. It is on a beautiful hidden square of the marsh near the st paul metro station. I'll definitely be back.

located at the corner of a very pretty little square with some other restaurants, you will escape the traffic. friendly service, with very tasty dishes. Japanese ravioli and fresh sashimis especially pleasant. We also had duck and a trio of fish that were very good. Reasonable cost, including fixed menu options of good value for money. the name seems to be spelled aomorik on the front of the restaurant, so don't be confused, you found it!
