"Went to Arcadius in search of an Italian restaurant in the area and found this lovely place but I was disappointed by the food we ate. The actual restaurant is immaculate and very tasty, with a garden, a veranda and an internal room, all very stylish and proper, in a quiet area just out of Francheville nr Lyon. Some of the tables for two in the salon are a bit close together. Service was very kind, attentive and rather quick, with no pressure. It sports an international cousine, French and Italian dishes. Unfortunately we tried the Italian food and were disapponted by most. The lasagne were ok, although there was a lot of meat and very little beshamel. The carbonara came as a dish of pasta with bacon with a raw yolk sitting on top of it... no comment, please revise the process: it's scenic, but detracts from the final taste. My pizza siciliana came with an egg that must have been added as the pizza was already cooling down, as the egg white never cooked off the heat of the pizza and remained running; the base was good however. The fettuccine frutti di mare lacked taste. I just feel bad for those who think that is Italian cousine. Anyway, portions were very large and after those we were not able to eat anything else. I think next time I will stick to French and international cousine, steak and frites etc. Prices are on the high end, but congruent with the place. There are both a lunch and a child menu, but no set menu for the evening apart from the daily special. Wine is served both in bottles and by the measure. Major cards accepted and parking is available with no problems. The place is certainly a very good venue for both casual and business meals, the ambiance very relaxed, so I would advise it to all, but no Italian next time."

I went here for a Pizza, and I was not disappointed. The venue is rather good and well kept and the service is fast for an Italian restaurant. The pizza was good, not the best italian pizza I have had though. The cheese was also fine.

Frankly superb restaurant, we go there for my dad’s birthday, warm welcome, superb decor, dishes were really delicious Very nice and smiling staff, including the pretty waitress who accompanied us all the meal (Clarisse) I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant

The Arcadius deserves a much better score, we were a group of 11 people and none of us were disappointed by his dish. The plates are copied, the cooking of the perfect meat/fish and the accompaniments are well cooked! The pleasant service and the charming place, very romantic decor and space is sufficient to make the tables not one on the other! I will return with pleasure :

Arcadius, it's space first. A lot of space. It's no longer gastronomy, but astronomy! Nestled in a green setting, its intrinsic freshness will seduce you, even in the full heat. And winter will be good for you to enjoy the warmth of its dishes out of the oven. Arcadius is also an ecosystem, with a map hosting a variety of dishes to make jealous a compulsive collector. Arcadius, it is finally a piece of Italy, with an alchemy that will make the essential synthesis between ingredients of choice and your demanding taste buds.
