"A punishingly hot summer evening found a group of us hankering for a light meal composed of cool refreshments (ice-cold drinks) and fresh salads in a Parisian café. We deliberately decided to avoid the touristy cafés around the area of the Etoile/Champs Elysées and opted for the leafy and charming neighbourhood of Auteuil where the annual French Open is held in the iconic tennis courts of Roland Garros. There is a plethora of cafés and brasseries surrounding this ‘round-about’ – a crossroads for the neighbourhood – and we opted for one with a nice-looking and shady terrace, the Auteuil. As this area is located deep in chic Parisian territory we found ourselves observing a lot of (mostly) young and beautifully-kept people who came and went and who apparently used the place as their social base: displaying their tanned and well-toned bodies (they had apparently just returned from the beaches and other holiday places), their skimpy clothes, their immaculate make-up and hair…such eye candy one could definitely have a surfeit of!And so to the refreshments and alas, we were very disappointed. The Prosecco I had ordered was not cold, and nowhere could one see the bubbles that one associated with sparkling wine. The beer my spouse ordered should have been chillingly cold. It was so tepid he had to ask for ice to give his beer some needed pep!The server seemed distracted and harried to say the least. Moreover, it took the kitchen more than half an hour to fill our orders of salads and steak tartare. Surely as there was hardly any cooking involved in the preparation of these dishes, we should not have waited that long? The server took such a long time (perhaps the beautiful people needed to be served more rapidly) getting the requested Tabasco sauce for the steak tartare that my spouse had to look for it himself in the inner 'sanctums' of the place. His only consolation was that the steak tartare was prepared according to the classic method (the meat cut with a knife, not ground in a grinder). And yes, before we could order, the manager asked to re-arrange our table for a better flow of people traffic. One wonders why they didn’t think of this at the beginning of the working day? While the arrangements were being done I saw used napkins and a used knife on the floor that no one had bothered to pick up; one really has to wonder at this establishment’s attentiveness to the hygiene of the place…."

nicely and cozy furbished I would rather suggest to go for apero. pool to be played, wine and some sort of Italian appetizers. a bit expensive but consider the location in 16e, not really extreme.

Have been to this pleasant airy restaurant a number of time with ever a disappointment. Tasty Escalope Milanaise, spread so thinly that really it must have been an effort, perfectly cooked, just short of crispy... my wife had a delicious salad, and everything was served with a smile..

Nice terrace when weather permits for which a reservation is strongly recommended. The menu is short and Italian based with pizza and pasta. The service is friendly, speaks some English but is not very quick (at least for dinner). A safe bet in the neighborhood but do not cross Paris for it. About 20 euros per person.

To start off with, the service is friendly considering you're in Paris and the service is terrible everywhere. The food is great and priced well. Good value for money. Really enjoyed their detox drink (Green Detox) it was superb!Theres a great terrace where you can sit on the street, cafe trottoirs style. Beautifully decorated restaurant on the inside, with a great outdoor rooftop. 5 stars, worth another round.

This restaurant has a super location close to the metro, valet parking and lots of good outdoor seating both on the ground floor and second floor. They have a pool table and a general nice and welcoming ambiance. The food is ok but not great, the service is really friendly but quite slow. All in all this is a great place to see your friends to talk and hang out, but only an ok place if you want to have a dinner with good food and good service.

We were on our visit to French Open 1st qualifier and left after the match got over. It was lunchtime and we had to catch a metro to be back in central Paris. Since, this restaurant is bang next to the metro stop, we ended up here. Lovely location. Lots of places to sit outside on the ground floor and upper floors too. We could see a few tables unoccupied, but we were refused, as it seem that particular Sunday - they were fully booked and reserved. We were given a table on the upper floor inside, with a shaky table. However, were not asked to wait, we were offered a table immediately. My son wanted to eat Pizza, which we got there. We ordered grilled salmon and white wine. The problem was ve...

It was a long line outside, and a lot of people left after talking to the host, but I guess they asked for an outside table, because we easily got a table inside. I had read the reviews saying you had to wait a long time for your food here, so I was pleasantly surprised when we got our champagne and starters quickly. When waiting for our mains; steak and pizza, I got the picture. I think we waited an hour or so, they may very well have forgotten our order. Anyways, we had a lovely time, so it did not matter too much. When the steak finally arrived, it was well done, even though we asked for it raw. Instead the formaggi pizza was kind of raw... They replaced the steak and after a further wait...
