Baan Thai - Menu

Been to the Baan Thai many many times always really enjoyed the food and service there. Went last night and was a bit aghast and having to pay VAT. Doubt we will be going back there .

Had another great meal again here, was a bit worried with recent reviews, but don’t be, had great meal with plenty of taste. Wife returned for a long day driving so turned up late but everything was available and no rushing us. Will certainly be back soon. thanks

Hidden from the main Morley area, is a little hidden gem The food was excellent, and the service was superb, attentive, smiley staff, offering assistance and guidance when needed The food choice was extensive and something to suit all palates lovely ambiance, and we thoughly enjoyed the evening it was hidden, but now we know where it is we will return View menu

The building it’s in is a bit strange and a bit tired. There was a large group dining after we ate and the staff seemed pre-occupied about getting prepared for the big group, so service was just ok. Food however was good. Portions maybe a little small. The menu is a bit dated too. A Thai meal in Leeds would be more varied and interesting. Still, I’d probably go again.

called in as a last minute decision, and was lucky enough to catch the early bird deal the selection offered was huge, and all four made different selections, the green curry and sweet and sour chicken were amazing and portions were very generous lovely ambiance within restaurant, and the service was excellent we all had a wonderful evening and when the bill came is was such fantastic value for money brilliant little gem, highly recommend

We wanted somewhere special to hold a meal for friends and family to celebrate our wedding day. Baan Thai went above and beyond to help. Let us choose our seating arrangements, even opened slightly early for us. They were even kind enough to get flowers for our tables. The food was exceptional, the king prawns given rave reviews and everyone said they enjoyed their meal. All food came out together which was impressive. I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants including a few in Thailand and I can honestly say this is one of the best. The food was excellent fresh, fragrant and delicious. Everything was obviously freshly prepared and despite us being a fairly large group, orders arrived together and the service was seemless. The staff were really friendly and helpful and when questioned, obviously knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. On a Saturday evening the restaurant was busy with a mixture of groups and couples I should imagine that you'd need to book. A lovely atmosphere and can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

Last night we went to Baan Thai a restaurant we have been numerous time previously but sadly this will be the last as the service and food was so poor we won’t be be back. The restaurant was very cold to the point where guests were sitting in coats and the starters were brought out on cold plates and was only lukewarm. I made the staff aware of this and was told they were sorry. The main course then took a further hour to arrive, baring in mind the restaurant was only half full, and was again served on cold plates and was like warm again. I sent the food back and was told that I would have to wait for the rest of the customers to be served before they would re cool my meal which as I said I...

Not a good experience this evening, we have been several times and could never find fault, that was until this evening. We were shown to our table and handed very old and tired grubby menus, we ordered drinks and chose what we wanted. Starters were served and out of 4, 1 of them could be described as hot we pointed this to our server who said they would pass it in to the chef. We then waited over a hour before hot plates were brought to our table, then it must of been 10 minutes our mains were brought to the table on cold plates and again food not hot.
