Thank you to everyone at the Crown in Chertsey for helping us organise and host our baby shower. Perfect function room upstairs, amazing food and really friendly staff.

We meet at the crown twice a year as it is a central point for family. The food and service never disappoints, yet again we had a really good experience with no complaints

Great pub with very good food. Our hostess, Leigh/Lee made us feel very welcome and valued as customers. She also made us laugh with her comments and brilliant sense of humour. Definitely recommend a visit. View menu

Staff and food were on point- unfortunately the room wasn’t, dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed- had to ask for clean bedding- coffee machine was rot so didn’t use it and signal on tele was awful! Please speak to your cleaners they are letting you down !

We had our daughters christening reception here in their private function room, the service from the staff from start to finish was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble! The food was was delicious aswell and was the perfect amount for what we needed! Thank you to David, Simon and all the staff at the crown!!

Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Customer service on front desk was terrible. Did not check how stay was or any issue. Room was dark and smelt of damp. I had a ground floor room which was next to the beer garden, which was very loud. 2nd morning there was no hot water for shower. Food was good although expensive View menu

We booked the Windsor Room at the Crown for an all-age get-together of the extended family. All our guests commented on how well we were looked after (especially by our barman George and the catering staff) and what a great venue it was, including high quality spacious bedrooms. The room was well laid out with tables in pristine white cloths and comfortable red plush chairs. The food was extremely good and in plentiful supply for people who had driven a long way to get there. We, as locals, walked home with our heads buzzing with the compliments, which we are more than happy to pass on to the Crown.

We arrived at 11.30 and asked if it would be possible to leave our bag and return to check in later (as we had a wedding to attend). The lady at reception just looked at us and said that wouldn’t be possible because they didn’t have space. This surely has to be a normal request from travellers?? When we returned to check in we had the most filthy room I have ever encountered. Dust everywhere, mould in the bathroom, a leaking sink and damaged bath. When I got in to bed I was horrified to find the sheets were wet! The runner on the bottom of the bed was damp for some reason which left the sheets underneath wet. We were too tired to deal with it so went to bed. The only saving grace of the hote...

The food is pretty good with decent sized portions and average pricing, but the service lets this place down unfortunately. We were greeted to be told that there was a 45 minute wait for food (including starters) as they only had one chef working and he is new it didn 't ultimately take that long, but a poor first impression. Bottle of wine deposited on the table, unopened and no offer to pour anyone a glass. I don 't recall anyone asking if everything was okay, although the food service and table clearance was positive. At 9.40pm two of the my friends (having finished eating at 9.30pm) decided to order desert, but we were told that the kitchen was shut! After a quick Google, it appears that... View menu
