Baumstammhaus - Menu

While staying in Walluf, my and I went here for dinner. Large portions, a bit disappointing on the quality.

We both had Schnitzels (one Jager, one onion) both were huge! They were very good and tasty, as was the salad.

Just yukky schnitzel thats NOT freshly made !!! Tastes like they been sitting in the kitchen and just microwaved or deep fried before they hit the table ! View menu

that is probably the best carving restaurant in Germany (at least the entire Rhine-Main region.) the atmosphere in the interior is great and the children love the different room settings/decorations. the food is excellent and the service is friendly and fast (if not booked) prices are...fair and parking are available.

Log Cabin or Lodge type restaurant with fair German food. Despite being located in a rather industrial area, I love the look and feel of this place. Decor and atmosphere is really cool. Food is pretty decent German fare but nothing outstanding. Portions are quite large. Decent Rheingau wines at humane prices and beer selection OK. Service was friendly and efficient. Good place to take a group as there's plenty of room.

An extremely cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The restaurant is deceptively small from the outside yet there are many places to sit and the cabin-like environment is amazing with so many knick knacks for decorations. The menu is quite limited but one can't go wrong by ordering the schnitzel. You'll receive a large portion that will be difficult to finish. Kid friendly too! I was told that the people of miles around come for the tasty carvings. So I ordered the pork with a mushroom cream sauce. it came with fries and an salate. if they have a small or even normal appetit, they could share the order and walk away from the table quite filled. the servings are huge and I took half my food home. the service is excellent and friendly. roll chair was quite well accommodated. families with small children are welcome. as far as the cost is concerned, it was good. we were 5 adults and 2 children (ages 6 and 8) we had glittering waters, apfel wines and beer, as well as 6 dinners of different entrees with the children sharing an evening meal. the bill was 85€ so we have a...

in a really big log cabin. various niches with enough space for couples or groups. all interior and walls are equipped with antique materials and scraped, which gives a very cozy atmosphere. his not too bright in that the (in. my opinion) cozyness especially of the walls that are of great logs without wallpaper, color or anything else. the different portions (in particular the carvings and the meat cups) are very large and everything is a good home cooking style. Me and my 5 friends were debating on where to have dinner on a nice Saturday in the Wiesbaden Rheingau Area . They were craving Schnitzel so i said ok i will give Baumstammhaus a last chance to prove that they can do better.... Wrong choice . Waiters completely ignorant and most unfriendly table waiters i have ever met can 't get worse after asking why they dont provide a card payment method after years she replied in german if you dont have the money to eat here go to McDonalds or Burger King they accept cards !!!
