"kostas an adventure on the island langoog. I have always made myself a task to report positiw.Especially at the beginning - we have not gone hungry to home. the smell of mediteranem makes the gast curious. also the service – I suspect the gastronomic and his wife- are very nice and hospitable. striking is the salattheke at the beginning. so everyone can determine his salate selection itself. but also the lack of olives and pepperonis is equally noticeable. in my eyes must be Greek. everything is very clean and obsolete. the drinks are very well cooled. the food is sufficient even if in comparison to the quantities in the mainland Greek at the same price it is somewhat less.Yes and now the less good experiences come. background music that has only a little Greek. andrea bocelli or rather prano-like music.The ambiente is a little lazy. who likes to be wasting grieche has saved a remarkable amount. a spicy that I never noticed when I smell is the renner here. dill wherever you try. tzatziki with dill, meat season with dill etc. in my eyes need to be used. reis, pommes fries without complaint. but the flesh !gyros as from the pan of aldi and all the other on meat furddry. a seasoned beer lid would taste the same. so not exactly an experience at kostas, a pity."

Unfortunately no star for food. On 20.11.2022 at 5 p.m., have picked up a children's gyro and a normal portion of gros to take away. We were disappointed with the joy of eating. Gyrosmeat was dry and the salad tasted old. Probably the rest was used for the first pick-up gyros by the spear of the morning and the mixed salad had ingredients such as gurke, tomato and salad that were clearly not fresh. That's not a shame.

Anfangs fragten wir uns: warum Urlaub auf Langeoog und Griechisch essen gehen? Dann wollte unser 7-jähriger Sohn gern mal Lamm und Gyros essen. Ergebnis: an den letzten 3 Tagen auf Langeoog waren wir 3 Mal bei Kostas und waren überglücklich mit dem Essen und dem gesamten Erlebnis. Das Gyros ist von sehr guter Fleischqualität (kein minderwertiges Knorpel-Fleisch), die Souvlaki sind saftig, die Bifteki mit frischen Kräutern gewürzt, die Lamm-Koteletts mit aromatischen Knoblauch-Stücken garniert. PS: die Portionen sind auch sehr anständig groß (siehe Fotos) und die Preise für die Insel mehr als angemessen (18-23 Euro für Grillteller)
