"I was in search of a convenient place to stay overnight in a quiet location before a nearby work meeting. The accommodations were in an old building, but were comfortably furnished, with a great, comfortable mattress. The bathroom was a bit outdated but very clean. Since I booked directly, breakfast was included, but since I don't usually eat breakfast, they provided me with a packed lunch instead. This packed lunch was particularly noteworthy as it was evident that it was made with care, even down to the freshly ground pepper on my tasty club sandwich! Chris, the host, was friendly and I will definitely consider staying here again if I am in the area. I should note that the wifi signal in my room was weak, but still usable for getting online, signing into my vpn, and getting some work done."

Great little place tucked away but close enough to the M4 for customers to make the effort. We only found the place by chance on a long drive back from Cornwall with a side trip to Caerphilly and we were starving. We got lucky and had a great burger and met some lovely staff members. Good service. If it was closer to home we'd come again for Sunday lunch but if passing we'll definitely pop in again. Food drinks: Expected to see more real ale choices but a pint of Butcombe went down a treat. Only had time for a burger but it was a damned good burger.
