Bistecca Grillroom - Menu

Bistecca does not attract much when you see their frontside. Redyellow light sign does say much. The environment and service are good...food is outstanding! Try the house beef, you will not forget it

Steaks were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Juicy and full of flavour. Service was efficient but our food took a while as the place was full. The decor is not really to my taste but tbh I didn’t notice much as was too busy wolfing...down my food

we have been in this grillroom for the second time and it is always a culinary joy - although it has its price, but it is worth the money in quality. the ambiente is chic, but not too expressive and the waiters are very attentive, but not intrusive. a glass (open) wein (0.2L) costs 13-15€.

This restaurant is the best for steak and sea food lovers. Steak is prepered by very experienced cheef , it is really difficult find similar restauran with such good steak and sea food , I was there two times and always think to back soon...! A few friends were expecting a good time... Great atmosphere, but quite arrogant waiters and slow service. The food was good, but the vine recommendation were not the same class. The waiter could not keep control of who was ordering what, despite drawing a map...of the table, served wrong food and wrong drinks the first time. The price level is in the expencive end and we expected the service to be better

I've enjoyed Bistecca steaks for years and I most probably will continue to do so. The Restaurant is of typically American steak house style, which always will make your evening a special or at least not an every day experience! Visited here with high expectations from the Michelin Guide and reviews on TA. I made a reservation in advance and was duly seated but not served for quite a while. The restaurant was very busy and there was a distinct shortage of staff. I really...wish restaurants were honest enough and mentioned that they were short staffed rather than giving poor service at a high price. The food was good when it finally arrived but overrated but the long waits made the evening very prolonged so much so we even avoided the dessert menu It is not inexpensive so one would expect better service

There is no doubt, the imported meat served at this restaurant is of superb quality and cooked as per customers request. Now, everything else starters, sides, dessert me and my guest had was heavy too much sweet sauces, overcooked etc and not at the expected...level, especially given the hefty prices. One has to navigate hard in the wine list to find something good at less than Not to mention the vintages on the menu have nothing to do with those available. This place was hyped by several business acquaintances as THE steakhouse to go to in Essen, and so I went there with high expectations.
