the food was good. the meat very good. the prices are partially lifted.Ours has been very disturbed that we have offered an adequate wein, which has cost almost twice on the bill.When eating a fish dish the described supplements were not in stock. It was offered to me as a spade and a sauce as a substitute, but later both were additionally billed.Fascit: great local without asking. personal something to lift down .and the circumvent with guests and prices questionable. pity, the payment process has greatly distorted our visit there.

I've enjoyed Bistecca steaks for years and I most probably will continue to do so. The Restaurant is of typically American steak house style, which always will make your evening a special or at least not an every day experience! Even though...I feel that I enjoy evenings at the restaurants less than I did a few years ago. Visited here with high expectations from the Michelin Guide and reviews on TA. I made a reservation in advance and was duly seated but not served for quite a while. The restaurant was very busy and there was a distinct shortage of staff. I really...wish restaurants were honest enough and mentioned that they were short staffed rather than giving poor service at a high price. The food was good when it finally arrived but overrated but the long waits made the evening very prolonged so much so we even avoided the dessert menu It is not inexpensive so one would expect better service

This place was hyped by several business acquaintances as THE steakhouse to go to in Essen, and so I went there with high expectations.
