We had a good lunch here tasty, filling, good service. Staff were cordial. Server happy to help me with my French. Our experience was very pleasant and did not agree with the negative reviews.

Exactly what you hope to come across when looking for a casual lunch. Good location and very good service. The menu offered something for all and all meals were good. Both meals and wine were well priced. Will return.

Overall meal was pretty good and enjoyable, but the service was extremely slow. It took a long time to get bread, and after I got my food nobody every refilled my water or asked me if I wanted another drink when I finished my beer.

Ate here as a family, quite a nice setup in the centre of Apt. Nice to see the world going by as you're eating. We had the starter+meal formula which was pretty enjoyable. Service was pretty good too. Very reasonable prices, we tried to go again tonight but it was closed- (a Tuesday night- don't know if it's the same every week or we were just unlucky this time). So we thought it must be good and it was. My mackrel and potatoes starter was excellent. I would like to comment on the main course but it never arrived. They ran out of veal.Which was lucky, my starter was so huge I was wondering if i could even manage a mouthful of the main. I did have a desert, chestnut cream, delicious. Also the grandchildren thought the toilets the best they had ever seen. Real class they said and visited them four times.Worth a try.

I have never experienced such horrible service. One family member could not eat a full meal. To “punish” him the owner took away his glass and fork and continuously made disgusting remarks. When the food arrived it was cold and my fish portion was onl half the standard size. Unfortunately, the owner continued to make bad “jokes” and we were glad to leave the restaurant as quick as possible. I would strongly recommend to leave this experience to the poor customers who do not use TripAdvisor.

This mom and pop shop gives you a feeling of "FRANCE" in little Apt. And like most places in Apt, it's really cute. We got scallops, foie gras (a starter, but definitely suitable for a small-medium main dish), and truffled ravioli. My favorite was probably the truffled ravioli, but my party agrees everything was good. The managers are a couple and very friendly. Exercise caution when dining at night outdoors, as there is a creek/river that runs under the town and mosquitos might be out and about in the evenings.

My wife and I had the standard lunch menu. A brochette to start and we both had a steak for a main course. Both simple dishes but our expectations were surpassed. Lovely steak, accompanied by crispy fried chunky potatoes and a wonderful selection of mixed vegetables and a little pot of pepper sauce. Service lovely and a great atmosphere of mainly local people. The cafe gourmand was awesome - a coffee, with a tiramisu, a creme brûlée, a little rum baba and a lemon mousse. Each one a little lesson in perfection. This was one of those places that make you feel lucky when you stumble across it. Lovely.

Went here while we were on a family trip to France from London. On our very first day in apt, we sat here to enjoy a lovely family trip. THE OWNER, was extremely rude and made us feel like he was doing us a favour by serving us food, despite the fact that we were very sweet and polite to him. Also he was under the influence was alcohol and as per other reviews here, it seems quite normal and roitine for him to be inebriated at work! Anyway, the terrible service aside, the food seemed to be stale and cold. The owners wife was still a bit polite but looks like she still supports her uncourteous husband. Apt is beatiful and this is the only horrible experience we had, please go to another resta...
