"Unfortunately we haven 't had the opportunity to visit in many months, but we still felt like leaving a review because Bistro St Annes quite simply epitomises consistence and excellence. The fresh and absolutely delicious food that 'John ' the chef fires out is nothing shy of bang on and outstanding every time we come. 'Mads ' is absolutely terrific every time we visit. She always makes us feel so welcome and nothing is ever too nuch trouble. 'Jen ' is brilliant and always brings a wonderful genuine presence along with prompt professional service and a wonderful personality. We cannot fault a thing. These guys set the standard for what a proper Bistro should be. Absolutely cannot wait to be back, and for any blue cheese lovers out there get yourself a homemade beef burger with added stilton and proper crispy bacon. So much flavour, it 's sinful! 11/10!"

Simply the best burger around in a relaxed restaurant. Burger was a giant! And expertly cooked to perfection. Homemade is always by far the best. Take it from me. You will love the burgers

Popped in for lunch. The service was great. Really friendly staff. With a good choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. Food arrived promptly. Really fresh with good size portions ! Would definitely return.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I was welcomed by friendly staff and enjoyed a delicious lunch at a good value. My only complaint was the small restroom that was difficult for me to use due to my disability. However, I plan to return one day and would recommend this cozy bistro/cafe to others. View menu

Went in on the off chance apparently bistro was full so seated upstairs the waiter was nice but service was poor , food was ok really did not appreciate being told when I’d ordered dessert that it was pay as you go , so if I wanted dessert had to pay up front . When looking for a hotel I was going to book there but husband preferred a different one thank god I didn’t will not go back there again definitely did not appreciate being made to feel as if we’re going to do a runner

Fantastic service and welcoming, a charming little Bistro, we popped in for lunch, and it was quiet busy, they managed to accommodate us. We decided on some sandwiches for lunch, and I must say we were not disappointed, fresh bread and fresh fillings and plenty of! We had to have a portion of chips on the side and again gorgeous, I would not hesitate to recommend this Bistro to anyone, try it you won’t be disappointed, we will be back soon and our go to place to eat in St.Anne’s

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and it definitely won't be my last. It was quite busy, but it was during lunchtime. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. All the food that came out looked really good, and we were not disappointed. The food was very fresh. I had a tuna sandwich and fries, while my husband had a tuna sandwich and mushroom soup. He said it was the best soup he has had in a while. We will definitely be back next time we are in St. Annes. View menu

Nice food in this cosy little bistro. Reasonable priced with a 30 minute wait from walking through the door to being served our food. Not a problem at all when the food was such a good quality. I had the ‘Big Steve’ burger (beef burger with hash brown, bacon and blue cheese), my partner had the beef burger and our 5 year old son demolished the kids burger that came with drink and ice cream. All meals served with coleslaw, chips and side salad. Whole thing came to £32.25 although I did only have tap water and my partner a 50p glass of juice

I recently had my first visit to Bistro St Anne's after planning to dine there for some time. The service was excellent and the food was superb. One of our group had the classic burger and described it as the best burger she had ever tasted, with perfectly cooked chips on the side. The leek and potato soup was delicious, and those who ordered wraps were impressed by the generous portions and quality. I opted for the Ploughman's, which was a satisfying meal with thick ham, high-quality cheese, pickles, pork pie, chutney, fresh crusty bread, and a side salad. Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely be returning.
