"We went to the Black Horse for Mother’s Day lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful, kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and offering us drinks. The food was incredible, very large roast dinners and good portion sizes. Kids meals were delicious too. Seeing as it was Mother’s Day we treated ourselves to dessert, all the desserts were homemade and amazing! We had the brownie and the biscoff cheesecake and the kids enjoyed the ice cream my dad requested an Irish coffee which wasn’t on the menu but they made it for him anyway. At the end of the meal us mums in the group were gifted a mini bottle of gin and some chocolates which we were very happy with, such a lovely gesture! Overall a lovely pub with yummy food and a friendly atmosphere, I’m sure we will be back!"

Booked for a Mother’s Day meal with family. Roast dinners were lovely and burgers and sides were also good, small menu but excellent menu! Highlight was the homemade cheesecake for dessert!

We had a Sunday Lunch for four people. The lamb shank was excellent. The pub has a stylish atmosphere with comfortable and clean wooden furnishings. The waitstaff were attentive and efficient.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and serves great food at surprisingly good prices. I was impressed with the Sunday roast, which came with delicious roast potatoes piled high. The garden area is decent, but the artificial grass and some noise from the road can be a bit distracting.

Incredible service friendly staff, made you feel very welcome. Kept an eye on the table (never went without drinks). Food came quick and hot. Great burgers with lovely additions. The roast dinners had an immaculate array of vegetables not just the boring cabbage and carrots. Delicious desserts would recommend the cheesecake to all. Overall, great place and can’t wait to come again!!
