"only once visited this place. it was on a Wednesday evening, but the compact setting made it quite busy considering the middle week-time slot. there was not enough space for the four of us sitting in the main part, so we sat on chairs around the corner. this was the part of our service and our comfort. this is however a restaurant in every sense of the word, so that the casual service and the cool furniture are to be expected and even loved, depending on the age and setting. the main reason for the visit was of course eating. it wasn't disappointed. between the four of us we explored a good part of the menu and all agreed it was very delicious. none of us had ever visited mexico before so can not comment to the authenticity, but in comparison to the many Mexican restaurants I visited in london, this was certainly worth visiting here at the top end of the scale."

two weeks ago, some of my expat friends and I read this glowing review of boho mexica and knew we had to check it right away. if they know any American expats in london, they will know that Mexican food is our catnip and crack, rolled in one.

It´s 100% mexican with delicious food. Perhaps the best place to get 100% mexican meal in a real comfortable ambiance. Boho has many traditional dishes on the menu : the guacamole is original and tasty, the portions are large and the cocktails and beer selection is impressive. This is a very autentic restaurant that has friendly and smily staff.

great place! we arranged our team Christmas dinner there after seeing the amazing reviews. I'm usually not a fan of mexicans, but I've chosen this place because everyone said that eating is authentic and not the typical commercial **** that sometimes goes over for mexicans. cocktails are really good- strong- but good (zombie is deadly.) if they are a true tequila fan, then this is the place for them. you're getting the good one. all in all money well spent and worth it. I'm going back. View menu

artistic and Bohemian. I like this: old literature and art on the walls, Mexican artists, Mexican taste from different regions. the best were the drinks, the music and the tacos. we all had a few salses and the three milkcakes. the food was delicious, although our table was on the back and a bit too crowded a Friday night. however we had a table without reservation waiting in the lounge (yes, there is a beautiful lounge area). service (this blond Australian girl) was really friendly! best Mexican option in the opposite.

coolest East London Mexican. they want to have a delicious Mexican food, listen to good music and have fun, this is the place in the east londons. I tried a few tex mex in the city, by the way disgusting until I appeared in boho mexica. Even the old times on the wall and the historical posters about mexiko in the fifties have amazed me. drink really good, they have good employees behind the bar. we had all tacos, the cochinita is my favorite. though tables are small, but they can enjoy the living east london live at the windows: good looking at commercial st. really good atmosphere!

As good as mexico. I'm from Manchester and had I read a lot of reviews before going to this place, as I love Mexican food since the moment I went to Acapulco with my parents a while back and was frankly a bit afraid, but I can tell you this much, I went there with 4 of my friends this past weekend, and the first thing is the place, is cozy and has a really good vibe from the moment you get in, and then the food, small portions?! Really, waht do people expect?! They are quite large and sufficient, and the flavours are simply wonderful, not waht I expected at all, i will be coming back and so will my friends definitely not the type of Mexican you find over here in Manchester View menu

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE This is the very first time I'm writing a restaurant review, because I think I should warn people about the worst restaurant I've been to in years. As a general description, this is the closest we got to plane food outside of an actual plane: absolutely tasteless, cooked in a microwave, mushy, soggy. All courses dishes were equally horrible, all thrown on the table at the same time on the tiny table, by a useless waiter, while no one came to do service or to take our wine order during the whole diner with the angry boss insulting loudly the staff in the background. If you still decide to go, good luck please don't judge mexican food on your meal this ****...read more

Clueless. Went there for a meal last weekend for my wifes 40th. Initially 2 of our party had to wait 40 minutes for cocktails, then various other members had to wait an eternity for their meals, despite all orders being taken at the same time starters and mains were brought out randomly and noone seemed to have a clue about what was going on. The waitresses walked off mid conversation and no care was undertaken to ensure we were looked after. On the bill were drinks that had not been ordered and dishes that although had been ordered had not arrived. A great deal of further training is needed for all the staff concerned in my opinion. Will never consider returning. Hugely disappointing...read...
