"Tucked away in Court Colman, we have been taking family and friends to Bokhara for years. As ever the food was amazing I had vegetarian option (a spicy aubergine/eggplant dish) and my companions had fish and shellfish dishes, which you rarely find in Indian restaurants in my experience. Indian style desserts are also on offer and not just kulfi. I really enjoyed a very generous serving of delicious rice pudding. We went on Easter Sunday so we literally had the place to ourselves. The staff was still friendly and super attentive. This is a hidden gem in the heart of Bridgend County Borough don't miss out!"

An amazing restaurant with fantastic staff and a very very talented chef. Tonight's meal has again surpassed my expectations, set in Court Coleman's grounds whose tribute to The fallen soldiers and in honouring Rememberance 100 years left me speechlessxxx

absolutely amazingly full of taste food, second to none. the personal could not be more helpful, they have full knowledge of the food and can lead them when they are uncertain. the chefs are completely amused when adapting the warmth of eating to their request, could not ask for more. View menu

Second time there. Food was very nice. Specially the naan, which is the best I've had, and I've been to a fair share of Indian restaurants over the years. The furniture though is not great and could do with a tiny bit of renovation as it feels a bit odd considering the prices they charge for the food. Service was ok.

What a fantastic place, we had a party of 20 and they managed to get all our courses together so no one was waiting. The food was out of his world and we ordered so many different things I'm sure the kitchen staff were working very hard. All the staff there were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back there soon.

we love this place. the staff are super friendly and make time to chat with them and are personable so it is an even more pleasant visit. the dishes are not what they usually see on Indian restaurant menus, they are more traditional and so delicious. if they are looking for something else with a place that is relaxed and welcoming, then the bokhara is the place to go. highly recommended. We went here for a Sunday buffet as we'd heard so many people talk about it. The amount of choice isn't as varied as we maybe had expected, but having said that there was at least one dish for everyone. The tandoori starters were incredible! Amazing fresh naan brought to the table, but I would have liked another one. All in all, tasty food and we won't hesitate in going back. (Side note a couple that ordered from the menu appeared to have incredible food!

Great country side place to relax and get Indian cuisine. Upsides: Great ambience. Courteous staff. Serve good portion size...Doesn't follow less is more in terms of portion size as other top rated restaurants Good Indian food. A pleasant homely experience for fellow Indians n Asians. Downsides: May be haven't tried everything thing but spice lovers may find a bit too much of tomato puree flavour in most dishes. Impression: I shall definitely recommend it to everyone. Also looking forward to visit many more times to explore more dishes. Thank you.

"So came here last night 13th oct. 9 of us 2 of which 2 young kids. Had starter , calamari this was ok, sauce was nice. Main was lovely which was lasagne really quite tasty it came with chips which were nothing special if im honest, i ordered a side of garlic bread with it which was nice, The host was a nice guy very chatty, the staff seemed a little clumsy if im honest, just as we sat down a tray of drinks went down the back of my sister because the waitress wasn't looking what she was doing although accidents do happen so no biggy, although I will say nothing was offered! No extra drinks, a free starter, nothing!!! This brings me on to the cost. Not much beer choice at all, consisting of draught peroni which was are you sitting down) £6.50 a pint! So I ordered a bottle of bishops finger which i thought was a 500ml bottle, it didn't say on the menu the size of the drink which i think it should have, Well the bottle came and it was a 330ml bottle!! £4.70 for a 330ml bottle!!! im sorry but thats to much, come on guys. We all had a starter and a main with dessert each, i had the newyork cheesecake, which was ok but tasted abit like something frozen, didn't seem home made to me anyway. The Total bill came to just over £400!!! £60 of which was a service charge i was told by someone on the table, but the owner has now said that there was no service charge so if this is the case then i apologise), we were a decent size group but you know when you've gone somewhere and feel that the cost is just too much. Nice restaurant but too expensive imo."
