"After a week of eating various typical German dishes we were ready for a change, so off to Bombay we went! A pleasant surprise - a very nice waiter - also the owner (who spoke perfect English), together with some excellent food. We had the vegetable samosa appetizer, a lamb dish, a duck entree, garlic naan, and delicious raita. More than enough to eat, and we were so full that unfortunately dessert was not an option...although I really would have loved to try it! The owner later still brought us each a small glass of mango liquor which was homemade and delicious. Go and you will not be disappointed. A family business and we hope they succeed in this location!"

Das Essen schmeckt lecker obwohl ich kein Fan bin von indischer Küche würde ich wieder dort essen ;) Kann man guten Gewissens empfehlen!

Die Speisen schmeckten aufgewärmt und alles irgendwie gleich. Nicht zu empfehlen. Das Essen lag uns im Magen. Haben schon wesentlich besser indisch gegessen.

Wir haben die Autobahn verlassen, um imBombay Indisch zu essen und es hat sichgelohnt. Es gibt eine Mittagskarte mit sehr preiswerten Gerichten. Das im 1. Stock liegende Lokal ist modern eingerichtet, der Empfang sehr freundlich und der Service aufmerksam und kompetent. Die Speisen sind Indischvom Feinsten; bei unserer nächsten Reise nach Südtirol werden wir hier wieder einkehren.

Es ist schade dass die Marktoberdorfer eine gute Gastronomie nicht annehmen. Leider hat sich das Bombay eine Räumlichkeit herausgesucht, die durch oftmaligen Pächterwechsel in den letzten Jahren "verbrannt" ist. Das Restaurant ist oft sehr leer, was meine Familie dazu animiert noch öfter hinzugehen. DENN: Die Speisen sind allererste Handwerkskunst, alles ist lecker und frisch. Das Personal ist höchst zuvorkommend, bedient nicht nur sondern betreut und berät. Die Herzlichkeit ist überragend! Auf jeden Fall eine Besuchsempfehlung von mir.

Ich war am Tag nach der Eröffnung da, hatte mir viel versprochen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Aus den Lautsprechern ertönte Techno Musik, die auf Bitten abgestellt wurde. Indische Musik gab es (noch) keine. An den Wänden waren noch Bilder des grichischen Vormieters. D. h. das Flair stimmte hinten und vorne nicht. Das Essen war okay, die typisch indischen Beigaben gab es nur gegen Aufpreis, Naan, gab's offenbar gar nicht.Ich wünsche dem Restaurant, dass dies nur Startschwierigkeiten waren. Aber so gerne ich indisch esse, ich kann mich nicht überwinden, nochmal hinzugehen.

It is very unlikely that you get good Indian food in a small town like Marktoberdorf. But still I tried the Indian food here. Being an Indian myself, it is hard to be over-critical of Indian food in restaurants. But to my surprise this was the best Indian food I ever tried in Europe. Although I just tried vegetarian dishes, but my friends who tried chicken were equally pleased. Take a sip of masala lassi and it will take you back to the streets of India. The authentic taste..The owner is also very welcoming and a nice person. I stayed in Marktoberdorf for 2 weeks and probably ate here about 10 times. Einfach die Beste!!!
