"I broke a drink here and wanted to eat there. the website told us that it was a cheap restaurant with good wine. we were asked if we wanted to eat or drink when we left and we, maybe both, but we would start with something weeping. we asked for a weeping list, but they said they had no, but they had two kinds of white wine. we finally gathered that there were only two that they could order through the glass and were shown a plaque with a list of weeps to buy from the bottle, from about until we ordered two glasses of the wee, that we was founded a dry wee that we prefer. the wee was in order, but the glass was very small and for me would appreciate that they get over glasses that from each bottle. there was a nice mix of old French borrowers who were played in the background, but really didn't think it was worth money so we were eating elsewhere,"

Booked a table for ; have been seated at .. waited another min for order to be taken. No priority over a couple whom did not booked in advance. Food correct. Good wine.

good eating good concept, but nightmare service especially the server (mann). I and my man live in paris, so we know very well French service style, but this place is even bad. View menu

It’s really good to see that real bistrot food still exists! There are many good old classics on the menu like poireau vinaigrette, blanquette, ravioles... the menu is very short which means it’s fresh and homemade. The staff is welcoming. Totally recommend this place for...an authentic meal.

This is without doubt the best restaurant in annecy. It was recommended to us by our b and b owner. We would never have picked it just by looking at the outside. But the first floor restaurant was lovely, the food the best we've had...for a long while and we live in France! Staff speak great English if your stuck with the menu. Thoroughly recommend leak vianaigrette and the steak

We had walked by this place on a few occasions and it always seemed very busy. Waiting for the chance to go in when it was quieter. It has that idyllic French charm and character about it. It's what enticed us in the first place!...Served lovely wines and coffee for good prices. Away from the tourists and very authentic. A real taste of France. Can't wait to go back. The guy who served us was lovely too. View menu

On the way back to the apartment, only some walking meters left, we saw the Bon Pain Bon Vin (good bread, good wine) so we stopped. It was too late to eat, even bread, but the right time for a glass wine or two....What can I say? The wine was excellent, the place charming, filled with local people and the service great. The waitress offered me to try the local schnaps (Licor), which I did, and then she smiled and said: it's on the house.

good brot, good wine! what more can they demand in life? during our visit we found that bon pain bon vin also translated into “French Tapas”. bon pain bon vin serves a lot of small tellers that are shared together with a lot of weeping to join their eating. my wife and I have sampled over the menu, from escargots to onglet, or hangar steak, and everything found to be delicious. we also accepted our waiter's proposal for a bottle of regionally produced wine to accompany our meal. there is a good reason that bon pain bon vin is listed in the michelin red guide for frankreich. it combines excellent eating and first class service with reasonable trips. reservations are recommended, the restauran...

"We had a weird feeling about this restaurant when we were given 2 menu books WITHOUT any price at first. Turned out that their gastronomic pricing didn't match their brasserie standard at all. My friend asked a couple of questions about some dishes, the waiter...was very puzzled and passive, said a couple of times that he didn't know. After that, we were served some kind of MUSHY OLD bread before the meal. If this was a sign of welcoming from the owner, then he failed right there. In our main courses, apart from the meat and fish ingredients, each of us got half of a small potato, 1 small stick of leek, 1 lonely cauliflower, some smashed petit pois with the size of a small coffee capsule, and 1 line of smashed carrot. Looks like the quantity one would place on a plate of a gastronomic restaurant with 8 courses, except that this is NOT a gastronomic restaurant, from the plastic menu, the furniture, the old bread, the cutleries, the different menu pricing and the service which failed to describe the dishes. The worst part, was when the waiter came and asked us if everything went well, I gave him the feedback that the food was good but the veggie was way too little. He first proposed us to eat more dessert, then when I said no, he got so upset and defensive that he even pointed at the kitchen telling me that I should go to see the chef and discuss with him myself. Why bother asking your client how their meal was if you can't receive a candid feedback? Being a frequent traveller, coming from the hospitality industry, I have to say this place is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Unless you have too much money and eating next to a canval is way more important than being treated in a disrespectful manner, and leaving the restaurant with a happy stomach."
