"We had a weird feeling about this restaurant when we were given 2 menu books WITHOUT any price at first. Turned out that their gastronomic pricing didn't match their brasserie standard at all. My friend asked a couple of questions about some dishes, the waiter...was very puzzled and passive, said a couple of times that he didn't know. After that, we were served some kind of MUSHY OLD bread before the meal. If this was a sign of welcoming from the owner, then he failed right there. In our main courses, apart from the meat and fish ingredients, each of us got half of a small potato, 1 small stick of leek, 1 lonely cauliflower, some smashed petit pois with the size of a small coffee capsule, and 1 line of smashed carrot. Looks like the quantity one would place on a plate of a gastronomic restaurant with 8 courses, except that this is NOT a gastronomic restaurant, from the plastic menu, the furniture, the old bread, the cutleries, the different menu pricing and the service which failed to describe the dishes. The worst part, was when the waiter came and asked us if everything went well, I gave him the feedback that the food was good but the veggie was way too little. He first proposed us to eat more dessert, then when I said no, he got so upset and defensive that he even pointed at the kitchen telling me that I should go to see the chef and discuss with him myself. Why bother asking your client how their meal was if you can't receive a candid feedback? Being a frequent traveller, coming from the hospitality industry, I have to say this place is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Unless you have too much money and eating next to a canval is way more important than being treated in a disrespectful manner, and leaving the restaurant with a happy stomach."

Excellent food, great service and overall brilliant experience. The foie gras was delicious as was the chocolate and peanut dessert.

excellent eating! it is recommended by michelin, but it was better than 2 and 3 stars michelin. I recommend this restaurant. it is located in beautiful annecy

food good to very good; ambiente bad except tables in the window; service sufficient but not care. I understand the problem of recruiting in the restaurant business, but server should at least pretend they were happy that they came into the restaurant!

In the heart of Annecy, this nonchalant tiny restaurant gave us a true gastronomic experience! Absolutely fantastic food, with a superb combination of flavours in each dish. Conforting, yet refined food, I couldn’t be more pleased ! Highly recomend this place.

Just next to the old town in the heart of touristic Annecy. Slightly on the pricier side, but well worth it food was very good and the service was excellent from the young but courteous staff. We had the 4 course vegetarian menu which...was not copious but surprisingly filling. Will go again.

A very good meal in the buzzing centre of Annecy. We went for lunch and got seated on the terrace which was very nice. We had a lunch tasting menu which was well prepared, a lot of food actually but a little pricey. The wine...list wasn’t very interesting and the service not very attentive but the food is worth going for anyway.

this is a pleasant place embedded in annecys heart. good service, tasteful meals. a negative point but: we had 5 ́menu fraicheur’, and they have the desert to choose in advance, so that we have the chocolate mousse and his coco crumb. now, they just waited for the end of the meal when were gloomy at the table to tell us that there was no coke in them.

This was a great find as it feels a little bit quieter but is right next to the markets. Excellent food: had the tomatoes and terrine to start and then the local fish. The tomatoes and fish were two of the best courses I have...had for while! The fish was perfectly cooked in a light meunière sauce with a touch of garlic. Wine was good and reasonable. Great service even though they were busy. Also the first page of their menu is a vegetarian degustation, which gives you an idea of how good their produce is. Overall great experience, will definitely go back. A bit more expensive than most but worth it I think.

we have booked a dinner for two in auberge de savoie after we have passed and it was a fish restaurant (my mother, with whom I was traveling, is pescatarian) the restaurant had a Micheline guide board at the entrance, and we read some reviews...online, all seemed good. the service was in order, but eating was simply really disappointing and overpriced. we were told the half of the seafood menu was not available, and my mother ordered a fish starter with blueberries, which saw and tasted sub-par, the main course was 5/10. overall we paid 220eur for a bottle of wine, eating and coffee, feeling left when we was was wasting an dinner, compared to the following night when we were the most amazing...
