Der lauschige, unerwartet grosse Garten des Borromeo lädt richtig ein für ein tolles Abendessen! Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen, von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert, wunderbar! Wir werden auch beim nächsten Besuch in Ascona wieder im Borromeo reservieren!

The garden in the inner courtyard is wonderfully quiet and very large. The food was very good and the service was nice. What I was missing, however, was that there were no local beers, only Appenzeller. Ticino has so many local smaller breweries!!!! That's why we only chose water. Hope there are at least 1-2 local varieties on the next visit.
