"We have eaten at this restaurant several times and taken take-out orders. I find that it loses quality. Several times we found that the takeaway meals were not as good as before. At the restaurant, I asked for a dish that didn't sting, because I can't stand it very much. But he was. My friend who is used to eating spicy foods confirmed this. I warn the lady, but apart from telling me that this dish is not strong, nothing. I was not offered anything else, nor asked at the end of the meal if it had been good anyway. It was actually my partner who ate everything. The service and customer relations are not up to par when there is a problem to be resolved."

"This place is a true hidden gem, although it has a very strong reputation in town to deliver very good products at good prices. You wouldn’t guess what a nice terrace can be found beyond the trees. The atmosphere is very magical and serene and I had a great cozy evening with my partner. For a start, the strawberry basil gazpacho was really refreshing. For my taste, not too sweet however it does tend to be sweet. Every plate we had had a great presentation, and portions were amazing. My partner loved the warm bread he received with his fois gras as an appetizer. I liked my veal, although I would have preferred a less strong dried tomatoes taste in the sauce. The risotto had a great consistency, perhaps slightly too buttery. I didn’t taste the basil. The tartare of my partner was great, and so were the fries. As a final step we took a sorbet valaisanne and the portion was great to be shared between two. Prices are fair for products which are local. The staff was very friendly and luckily for me who I don’t speak French, at least one person was speaking Italian too. We didn’t have to wait too much, I feel that the staff was properly trained. In addition, we never sensed any noise from the kitchen nor stress from the owner (very important point! . I can definitely recommend this restaurant!"

"Newly opened in Sion. This restaurant is one of the best around town. The location is not the most ideal, at the corner of a busy crossroad with no view but the interior design certainly makes up for it. Soft lighting, comfortable chairs and good atmosphere. The staff are really friendly, attentive but discreet. The service was fast, we didn't have to wait despite the resaturant being packed. The food was delicious. We had the antipasto, then the moules and Tagliata. We were really pleased, the moules were fresh. The meat was very tender, great seasoning. Really good, cannot complain. I highly recommend this restaurant. However, it is better to book in advance especially for the weekends. Once I tried to reserve a table for a Friday night the day before but it was fully reserved. The weekdays, I'm sure you can get a table if you call on the same day. There are a lot paid parking choices around. The price is correct. It ranges from 25fr 45fr for the main course. I wouldn't mind paying more for the service and the food that I have recieved."

"Wir sind langjährige Gäste vom Buffet de la Gare. Seit die jüngere Generationen das Lokal übernommen hat, hat jedoch die Qualität beim Service und beim Essen nachgelassen. Ich schätze, dass man bei der Slow Food-Bewegung mitmacht, aber die Auswahl der Speisen ist schon etwas dürftig. Wir haben Reh-Pfeffer bestellt, die Sauce war ziemlich fade und die Spätzli für meinen Geschmack zu stark gebraten, während unsere Begleiterin ein Tartar bestellte, das sehr gut war. Man hat uns altes, trockenes Brot serviert. Als wir reklamiert hatten, bekamen wir frisches mit der Begründung, dass das Brot zum Toasten gedacht war und irrtümlich auf den Tisch kam. Auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist nicht mehr so wie früher. hektisch und lieblos. Es fehlt an Charme. Das war früher ganz anders."
