the restaurant is not very large and very popular and I would therefore strongly recommend making it a reservation. eating is excellent and the service is equally good. the prices are especially fair for the size of the portion. we made a reservation because I am a slower eater and wanted to enjoy the afternoon. we were asked to create for the next round space.

this is a jewel of a fund and it is worth visiting. the beer is made over the road and is very good. talk about good local beer, this place ticking the box eating here is traditional Franconian, so if they like meat. above all bark or pork, then this is a place to enjoy this traditional fare to its best. the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have visited several times, and it has always a good number of people in, so if they want to avoid disappointment, I suggest they book a table.

our hike led us through this village and we had to gather our strength so that a little lunch was sought. the restaurant belongs to the brewery, so there are always fresh local beer available, including some smaller batches of special brews that are nowhere else available. the food was well prepared typical Franconian landed, i.e. delicious and heavy. during the midday the place was quite full, so if they plan to visit in public holiday or Sunday or with a larger group, a reservation would probably not hurt. the next time we're here, we'll visit the restaurant again.
