"We visited with a party of 6 at 9.30am on a Saturday morning. The service was quick but appeared to get busier whilst we were there so I would recommend going earlier rather than later. The vegan breakfast included: beans, half a grilled tomato, 2 hash browns, 1 potato waffle, mushrooms, 1 fried bread, small amount of vegan black pudding (wasn’t the best but good effort), and should have came with 2 vegetable sausages but unfortunately they were not in stock. We also received 2 extra slices of toast with vegan butter which I assume was included with the breakfast but was not listed on the menu. The amount of food was big, very filling and very tasty. The staff at the restaurant were very nice. We tried the vegan breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. They had a wide variety of vegan options available.

Was lucky to find Breaktimes online, before a railway trip on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway. Delicious breakfast, unlimited tea or coffee, whole place really clean and lovely friendly staff

I can only give this restaurant four stars because it is not completely vegan, but the staff is friendly and the vegan breakfast was delicious. I would definitely return, and they also offer soya milk as a dairy-free option. View menu

Best Breakfast we have had in a while, fabulous friendly staff, service with a smile. Made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. Food was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. They wrapped up my unfinished breakfast at my request to take away with me. Coffee is amazing. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed the vegan breakfast at Breaktimes Cafe, which is served daily until 11:30. They also have a Plant-based section on their lunch menu, as well as many vegetarian options for both breakfast and lunch. In addition to cooked breakfasts and sandwiches, they offer vegan Teacakes and Cereals for those who prefer something lighter. They have oat milk available, but it is only offered with Americano coffee or in an Iced Latte. The food at Breaktimes Cafe is consistently delicious, and with the variety of choices available, there is something for every vegan diner. I'm excited to go back and try one of their vegan lunch dishes.

"Covid has presented some organisations with some proper challenges. Restaurants in particular with reduced capacities and timid punters who won 't come out to play yet were on the ropes until the chancellor bailed them with some tax payers ' hard earned cash. Since a two or three course Sunday lunch here gets you free entry into Portmeirion a hearty £37 off my bill for the four of us if you 're planning to visit anyway it was a no brainer that we should eat at the Brasserie. Currently you can only eat if you book in advance and by phone no on line booking is available which I 'd certainly recommend since we saw at least 3 couples turned down due to the place being fully booked up great news for the restaurant if not so for the hungry lunch hunters. The menu is short sirloin beef, braised lamb, roast chicken and trout with a couple of veggie options but this is never a bad thing in my opinion since it allows the chef to focus on quality. I had the mussels, lamb and the cheese board. Although all the normal Covid restrictions are in place particularly nice touch is the cutlery in its own wrappers declaring your perfectly sanitised cutlery none of it felt constrictive and the staff were brilliant at pretending they weren 't all washing everything furiously between each handling of every plate they touched and made us feel welcome and well looked after. The quality is far above your best gastro pub but with modest prices £20 for 2 courses, £30 for three with wines between £22 30 bar the sparklings and the four of us ate for £140 with drinks. We all need to get out and eat to save these businesses and I recommend this one whole heartedly."
