"Located in a charming historic building, this restaurant had the potential to be a classic brasserie, offering a fixed price menu for lunch and early evening to rival London's high prices. The service was friendly and attentive, starting off with a delicious duck pate. However, the main course steak was tough and flavorless, and the tomato salad lacked taste as well. It is often difficult to find flavorful tomatoes in London, possibly due to challenges in sourcing quality produce post-Brexit. The wine we ordered, one white and one red, did not meet our expectations in terms of quality. Overall, we left feeling disappointed with our dining experience."

Waiter was brilliant as was the food. Had the fixed price lunch which was good value for the quality.

Food and service good but had a very loud party downstairs with microphones used so disrupted our lunch

Good atmosphere, food and service. This is high end pub grub done well, if that’s what you’re looking for then I would recommend it. View menu

It was great food and service but the ladies toilet was just a bit disgusting. Someone should really check it and clean it every hour at least.

The restaurant is very clean and has a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The waitstaff were friendly and the service was prompt. We ordered the English breakfast, but be sure to note that it is only available until noon.

very good food. we ordered the ribeye steak and sirloin steak, both were good, but I recommend the sirloin more, which is tenderer. the waitress was very nice and accentuated, and the ambiente is fantastic. definitely recommend and will return! View menu

We were a party of 2 for lunch on a Sunday. The person serving us was super friendly when they were around, they just weren't around often enough. Out food was served; I had the fish chips and my friend had the shepherds' pie. Both were a bit bland tasting. I wanted mayonnaise with my chips but no one was around to ask. Only when we both finished eating, did someone come around which by then, was too late.

We arrived rather late as we were stuck in traffic but the staff were extremely welcoming. We were escorted to our table by Arthur who did a excellent job recommending the drinks. Our server was polite and friendly we wanted the lamb but they had run out. We were disappointed but the Chorizo with prawns followed by the Chateaubriand soon made up for it, as both were divine. My sister throughly enjoyed her birthday which was my main objective and I'll definitely dine there again.
