"we have been attentive to the brüdigams at one of our first hamburg trips. Whenever we have been in hamburg, at least one time the brüdigams had to be visited. What is so convinced me here personally is the warm and honest type of the entire service incl. line. if you just want to be able to enjoy eating and is served professionally. it is also not a problem to get involved in interesting talks with the team if you are after it.The interior is special and many deco objects tell their very own story. The many cookbooks from all over the world, which are exhibited in the restaurant and which were collected by the owner for many years. It is recommended to reserve a table beforehand. also wishes are not a problem. when you come by spontaneously you get no more space.Another highlight is surely the good price-performance ratio. the map is limited to a few, excellently composed dishes, which have a lot to offer for fish and meat lovers, but also vegetarian or even vegan palates to pamper. In contrast to the map, the courses can be individualized on demand. Sometimes you get even recommended proactiw to make a vegetarian menu even more unusual. From the outside, the budding is rather inconspicuous, but you should not be fooled. we have spent many interesting evenings here and I can only recommend the restaurant without restriction."

good food and an ideological kitchen and when you go out a chat with the chef - so the evening remains in good memory.

when we were standing on the road after 2 hours in the rainy rain, we had the feeling of leaving an oasis of happiness. in a cozy living room atmosphere awaited us a charming service, where no questions remained open and a kitchen that made us really happy from beginning to end. Here is just everything. thanks!

the restaurant is worth a visit. gerd rindchens wein ads drew us attention to the restaurant as there was menu and accompanying wee to enjoy. the top quality of the food and the good weine were accompanied by a very attentive and accommodating service. we felt very comfortable in the beautiful ambiente. with the owner, frank brüdigams, we also have had interesting talks, with him smoking comfortably in front of the door zigarre.

often it is that either eating or the ambiente or the service is top. frank and his team make everything right! that is a rare and happy combination. It is not possible to spread it any further, since all the tables are always forgiven. abes as they are already, there is the full charge at points here. (resevierung über open table klappen im Otherwise miraculous!)I go to eat a lot and am regularly also in the brüdigams. here are all the factors that make an evening a beautiful experience. Go on! why there is no good here, I am still a puzzle. good is the load, but not very good. optics is a taste, the long bank but slippery and uncomfortable. Generally narrow. Very large minus : it is extremely sticky. a couple of ceiling fans would help immediately. incomprehensible. start with lachscarpaccio well, head duroc - swarm a bit dry, but the around very good. pommes perfect. dessert prosecco - sorbet well. operation friendly, the aftershine remained however out. that must be in upscale gastro standard.

well known this had recommended us locally. on the alternative facility we were prepared, but not on the uncomfortable chairs. The alternative concept also includes serving the bouillon in a small can (teekanne?). I haven't seen that yet. the tables are close together and are very small. on this minitic one has to accommodate more, drinks and the other usual small things. our table was on the window. because the head of the house on the terrace smokes its cigars, the cigar smoke pulled through the opened windows and the open entrance door into the restaurant. this we felt as unpleasant. as a main dish we decided for the maishuhnkeule and the fish dish (waller.) tasteful the spears were in or...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
