"restaurant located in Corso italia a borghera, the most central area of this Ligurian town. modern room, equipped with external dehor, tables along the pedestrian passage (summer) and numerous televisions to follow the games of the moment (for example football Europeans) or to listen to music from the dedicated channels. quite comfortable seats, different furnishings depending on where you are sitting and a discreet mise en place; toilets are well equipped and clean. the clientele is very young and cheerful, as well as the waiters. Although they are well arranged and smiling, there is often some problem about the timing of the order and the correct grip of the commands. Variable and understandable menu, you can degote: pizzas, meat dishes, fish, vegetarians and also proposals for the little ones. presentation of sufficient food, however, are not always served at the right temperature. pizza has a too crispy and friable cornice, with a soft dough, the inredientistica still has a decent taste. the fried squid and shrimp with greenish in batter is not surprising, but at least it is little greased; Moreover you can observe a nutritionally healthy style by ordering a goat or other healthy dishes the cost of the course is not high, instead the price of the drink is a little higher than the other edging premises; low-invoice aperitif. I would return because it is one of the few clubs that offers the possibility to watch the games on TV, but it should be improved the food and wine proposal."

Even though the place looks really nice the service is very slow, the beer was not cold and the bartender was rude.

Very friendly service, nice premises. Good was OK, good but not amazing. A decent place for a quick lunch. They have a very extensive wine list

The location and ambiance is really nice. The staff was kind and the service fast as well. I ordered pizza and it was a normal average italian pizza. The prices were a bit pricy. All in all it was ok. View menu

drink is good, the restaurant always very good and good service, but during the aperitif (it happened to me several times otherwise I would not have written the review) almost all the waiters forget to bring that is the second or any lap, or the straw or coffee. this happens in peak hours, when the place is full, so it is understandable, only eye because they are not all understanding

"We visited Il Giardino del Gusto in November of 2019 while on vacation with our family from Toronto, Canada. Where to start?! The menu looked appetizing but that 's about it--our first plates came out rather cold and were SO SMALL (I ordered the prawns and I was given two measly pieces of shrimp... really? . When I inquired our waiter, Marco, why the portions were so small he said in a cavalier way Welcome to Italy! . Um, okay. By the time our main dishes came out, we were ready for the bill. The portion-controlled sizes of the dishes continued to mimic those of a tasting menu at a 5* Michelin restaurant, however, the taste was altogether lacking. Most of our family members don 't even remember what they ate here, it was that non-memorable. My husband, who ordered the fresh fish of the day, said the fish tasted farm-raised and was definitely not freshly caught. No excuse!! Ventimiglia is RIGHT on the water. Daiiiii! The kicker was the waitstaff drama that we witnessed. Voices were raised between the restaurant manager, Maria, and our waiter, Marco, who seemed to be involved in some sort of cheating lover 's quarrel! I kid you not, our Canadian family members who speak Italian were shocked at what was said between them. While not all of us spoke Italian, we got the gist of their drama. All together this restaurant has a very unprofessional atmosphere and the food is overpriced and not fresh to boot. The sommelier, Anna, was very helpful however in making sure that we had our bellies full of good, French and Italian wines. Skip the waitstaff drama, poor food, and small portions--in short, find another place to eat in Ventimiglia!"
