Amazing food! Amazing send friendly staff! Beautiful cocktails which aren't your usual ones you'd find! Can't wait to go back!!

Although the gimmicky iPads you order from which not all of them work the food itself is the best! If you like thin fries, theirs are to die from. Fun burger toppings and great juices and lemonades! Not too pricey as well.

Very good hamburgers! We had a chili burger and a cheeseburger and both were excellent. The only reason for not giving 5/5 were the less than great onion rings. Larger napkins would have been useful as well so you could've eaten the burger with your hands. View menu

We visited this restaurant earlier this year. Its a mix between a fast food burger joint and a sit-down dining experience.Ordering was fairly simple from the touch screen device. This also folded away when needed.The food was great and came very quickly.Very reasonably priced.Would visit again.

We ate here for lunch while visiting Cologne. They had a very cool ordering system on tablets and had good options to pick what you liked. I decided I did not want the barbeque sauce that was on all the burgers and wasn't an option to leave off on the tablet but the waitress made sure it was not added. The service was very quick and the burger was delicious. I would definitely recommend if you want a good American burger while in Cologne.

You come to a place, where you get a card in the beginning. You take a seat at a table and pop the pop-up menu - literally! Choose your order, enclose the card to confirm and in a few minutes get the food. Meanwhile observe the place. Some very nice wooden stuff, including the ceiling. The heart in the middle is a bit disturbing. It is the official logo o the restaurant, and is depicted on the cards too. You get the food and... it could be a bit hotter and a tiny bit less oily, the salsa sauce I ordered could be less sweet, there should also be more cheese (you can order an extra slice, but who would know the taste is not right in advance?). I was there on a Saturday night with some colleagues from work, even that it was Saturday we find a free table pretty quickly, we didn't had to wait more than 5 minutes. The main reason why we chose Burgerlich was because we wanted to test the IPad ordering system (we are working in the AV industry). The system works really good and it offers you a lots of details regarding the food and beverages and you can customize your burger direct from the IPad. They bring you the order really fast and you spare a lot of time because you don't have to call the waiter every time you want to have a drink or something to eat.There were of course also some minuses:- the iPads and the table was really greas...

We like these burgers very much and come back every month. The meat and the soft buns are much, much better than in any mac/king... , of course therefore a bit more expensive, but it isn't just a fast food chain, it feels much more like a restaurant.The name " Burgerlich" is a play on words, coming from the german expression "bürgerlich", for civil or bourgeois, but as well leaning on "gut bürgerliche Küche", which means something like "traditional bourgeois cuisine". Well, burger just became traditional ;)Not so traditional is the way of ordering, the kids might like it. We entered on a busy Sat evening just before the line started piling up towards the entrance, which could be a good sign for a popular restaurant. Immediately we were greeted and handed a complimentary drink for a short wait since unfortunately inconsiderate people were camping out at their table not ordering anymore. But since we had made the way and people were being nice we stayed. When we were seated it was at a dirty table and it took an eternity to clean.
