A first class dining experience in Dartmouth,especially if you can get a window table with great views of the estuary. Most friendly and helpful staff. Can recommend the liver and onions.

Very relaxed supper venue. Quality of food better than the sign outside would lead you to expect Chicken Caesar salad just loaded with Chicken and anchorage Janes lasagne also very good Starter portion a little small

Spent a wonderful evening here with family and can highly recommend if you are visiting in summer autumn 2019. The restaurant is a pop up for 6mos whilst the owners trial it’s popularity but IMO will be a crying shame if it doesn’t continue as it’s a great addition to Dartmouth. View menu

Lovely spot over looking the river, get a window spot if you can. Smallish menu with an Italian slant, all freshly cooked and well priced. House wine particularly good and very reasonable. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Recommended. This is a pop up so may not be around for too long!

We booked a table by the window, we were not let down. Well looked after by the Charming team. The view what can you say...never tire of the view over the estuary or river to Kingswear.Great pizza and squid. Very nice drinks. Pop up restaurant, please pop up when we return back to Dartmouth.

Visited this pop up restaurant on Saturday night with my boyfriend. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming, the views were breathtaking and the squid was the best I’d ever tasted. If you’re looking for an unpretentious relaxed evening with great food then this is the place to go. Only shame is that it’s only open for another few weeks so book in whilst you can. View menu

We visited twice while on holiday in Dartmouth. The first time just a few days after it opened. We liked it so much we went again in our second week. The food was well cooked with a range of options for vegetarians, including pizzas and canneloni. The managers were very friendly and willing to chat making it stand out from many other places. It is apparently a popup restaurant so only there for the summer of 2019.

Bushells has been suffering for a year or more because of problems with the building of their Riverside venue but in the meantime, they have taken over what used to be Sails above the yacht club. They have redecorated the room but overall, it lacks the atmosphere of the Riverside. We understand that the Riverside will be open in a month or so following the complete renovation (including removing and replacing the floor! However, they plan to keep both places open as neither of them is very large.

We were thinking of going to Bushells and they were full so suggested here as their sister restaurant. We were not disappointed! What an absolute hidden gem! The couple who are running it are so friendly and welcoming and happy to have a chat and recommend things off the menu. The food was amazing- particularly the seafood risotto- absolute heaven. The wine was really good and inexpensive. The views were fantastic and atmosphere lively and relaxed. Would definitely recommend going as they’re only open for the summer so don’t miss out! View menu
