"We love it here; but do have to share some concern following our visit today which was a stark contrast to the previous one, during which we felt really safe in your premises. Today there was no hand sanitiser available at all at the entrance, just an empty container along with the disinfectant spray for the trolleys and baskets. While I appreciate we are all walking through such unprecedented times it’s surely in the best interests of your workforce (and customers! to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to sanitise their hands on entry and also some monitoring of how many people are allowed in store at any one time. Some customers seemed to have completely forgotten social distancing and no visible staff presence to encourage the use of one way systems or the queuing to pay at the till. This is our new normal for a while yet- sadly today fell way short of the mark as we work together to keep each other safe while ensuring we continue to support local businesses."

Always a great selection of gifts and plants.. nice farm shop. Love it that jollies pet supplies is there and aquatic department plus the little shops like cotton traders etc. cafe isn’t always the best food and quite expensive for cakes etc and the bit where dogs can go isn’t nice and too small.

In current climate they need to get a grip of the Covid Regulations. Whether we like it or not the Government has implemented a policy of masking. Yesterday I saw very few members of staff wearing any PPE, including those serving in the restaurant. Plus it seems having to wear one as a customer is personal choice. As a large retailer you need to lead by example.
