"He's lucky to get two! we sat right outside looking at the place, great for people watching. sadly, the greetings, the care and the service were terrible. we ordered two monaco beer, same language of monaco in French or English...deux monaco s’il vous plait. he came to everyone with two green mohito cocktails! I said I'm sorry we didn't order them, we asked for two months. he had a rant from others and fled! he came after a delay with the right drinks that asked for immediate payment, so we gave him a note. he said merci, it's me who has to pay until the mohitos! we waited and waited for our change. So we ordered more monaco, he wanted more €, I refused to show him that he was mine and I owed him so he could be curt, but cautious, as he had regular now and as I speak flowing French, he hit a wall. be cautiously tourist if they do not speak French they are very cautious. he paid and we left the tip because he finally sorted him."

this little bar is exquisite. if they are lucky, there is a table in the sunshine over the place. Enjoy a glass vin rouge or an espresso.

Whether you sit outside or by the open doors, you can watch the world (lots of it go by. Slick service and polite. As good as anywhere else in the area to have a coffee or a drink. Would call in again with pleasure.

Lovely café/bistrot situated at a key corner in old Antibes beside the band stand. Mainly sell coffee and drinks, reasonably priced. Good place to people watch or wait for the other half who is gone shopping along the cobbled streets.

good place to sit for a coffee, except that it is constant traffic. personal and service very unfriendly and leaves much to be desired. music in the inner for pleasure of the personal. the quality of food is very bad, but then it is a real place for unwary tourist. View menu

This is the perfect restaurant to experience what we all imagine the South of France to be. The little tables and chairs set up in such a way you can view the people, and the buildings. It offers the the perfect vantage point of the...village. Yes the food is great too but this space is best used for sipping on a cappuccino and viewing the French way of life.

Each morning of our stay in Antibes began with a café, espresso, or cappuccino at this inviting place just off La Place Nationale. Just a few feet from the café doors is a cluster of tables with umbrellas where you can lounge and feel very...French, as you sip from your cup and watch people go by. Then zap ! when you realize the little lanes that pass you on the right and left are not just for pedestrians but also cars and amazingly large trucks whose drivers impress you with their ability to negotiate the narrow road and dodge the people in their way.

"In this location, surrounded as it is with large restaurants spilling out onto the pavement with their me-too menus of les pizzas and pâtes and overly familiar sounding meals, it is most unexpected to find a bespoke and personal restaurant offering a fine selection of dishes cooked with care. The menu, described appropriately as the 'carte du moment' presents a mercifully small number of seasonal and therefore changing entrées, plats and desserts. However, it is still hard to choose. Each one is enticing, interesting and original with the promise of flavours, combinations of ingredients and textures, without tricks and unnecessary embellishment. For a large number, a selection of all the entrées as share dishes makes a lot of sense. Everyone gets a taste of something and the difficulty of having to choose is avoided. For the plats, a single selection is best with pork, duck, tuna and salmon along with risotto as options on the night we were there. A fine burger also available is perhaps a concession to the location and, actually, a very fine dish. Four desserts are offered with each one tempting and beautifully prepared. Another selection for the table is highly recommended. The wine list is adequate and the ambiance works for lone dining as well as for a larger and more raucous group. The service is smiling and efficient as well as courteous. This is a place to make a favourite. The risk to this reviewer is that it will become deservedly highly popular and impossible for last minute bookings."
