Café Central - Menu

First impression: great corner bar with a Paris feel; second impression: it's part of a hotel and could be boring. First impression won and we were not...

I ordered the carving that was great and very tasty. the staff is friendly and polite. the atmosphere is pleasant. I would suggest sitting on the pavement when it is warm enough.

beautiful place. great staff. so kind. on Sunday at fasching. most places are closed. the suppe with kartoffels and kicherbsen was amazing. great wee too. roaming was pretty good, but not exceptional. presentation was great and big.

The Cafe Central has recently revamped its menu and now offers a range of sophicated choices along with a good wine choice. The outdoor sitting area is a real plus during the summer months especially as it is now adorned with large leafy palm plants!

I visited this caffe several times with business partners. every time it meets a pleasant background for our. with a nice selection of drinks and eating it is quite easy to find something suitable to sip or nibble on. the service is friendly and attentive., without being pushed. I appreciate their selection of organic products and would like to try their weekly breakfast buffet soon. this place is definitely on my list!

I've visited this cafe several times with business associates. Each time it provided a pleasant backdrop for our meetings. With a nice array of beverages and food, it's quite easy to find something appropriate to sip or nibble on.The service is friendly and attentive, without being pushy.I appreciate their selection of "bio" products and plan to try their weekend breakfast buffet soon.This place is definitely on my go-to list!

stay in the connected hotel chelsea had so many breakfasts, a lunch and an evening meal here. the breakfast was quite sufficient, nothing imaginative, but plentiful, fresh and tasty. croissants were a big hit with my employees. the lunch is best taken out on the spot when the weather is. blankets are available for diners when they get cold. I had the lunch special, that was a massive chopped bark patty (not really a hamburger, big-about cm) with kartoffel salad. delicious, cheap and large. In the evening was only a cheese plate with a little beer, but the amount was good and the cheese were fresh.

Cafe Central is in a very central area, but it feels more like a residential area. Just at the end of Händelstr. and supermarket opposite it's not a typical place for tourists. When we travel, we like to go where the locals go. In Cologne, which is a huge city, we had more trouble than we usually do in finding the local spots, which were certainly not identified in our guidebook! We ultimately ended up in what we now know is called the "Belgian Quarter", where many of the streets are named after Belgian towns. We found a good number of appealing restaurants on nearby Juelicher Strasse and Aachener Strasse, and on warm nights the restaurants around Bruesseler Platz set up seating all in the square in front of the church and are packed all night long.
