"buena elección para comer o cocinar. pequeño restaurante, aconsejo reservar antes. la comida es muy buena y sabrosa. buen cuidado (un poco lento pero es normal debido a las fechas). tiene una terraza interior muy estrecha y terraza en la calle. como único pero, y debido al covid, recomiendo al restaurante cambiar las cintas reutilizables para desechable. una observación más al restaurante para mejorar: actualizar el menú de la web ya que no corresponde al actual."

"Muy muy buen restaurante, oferta bastante variada y sobre todo productos frescos, ya sean verduras o pescado, todo estaba muy bueno y de calidad, puedes ir con los ojos cerrados, éramos 6 con 6 platos diferentes además de los postres. verdadera cocina digna del lugar (ciudad portuaria), a pesar de un gran mercado de pescado en el lugar, hay pocos restaurantes que ofrezcan pescado fresco excepto este, felicitamos enormemente la calidad y el servicio, durante nuestra estancia de 5 días fue nuestro mejor restaurante. Bien hecho, continúa y quédate como estás, amable, servicial…."

"Estuvimos dando vueltas por Santoña y, después de ver varios sitios, nos decidimos por comer aquí. Cuando entramos, la camarera nos dijo que no tenían carta para comer, pero sí pinchos. Nos decidimos a probarlos y nos sorprendieron muchísimo. Todos los pinchos son muy originales y la camarera súper amable nos explicó que contenía cada uno de ellos. Nos dejamos llevar por sus recomendaciones y acertamos con todo, ninguno nos decepcionó. Recomendamos especialmente el pincho ganador de un premio y el canelón de rabo de toro."

"We arrived just before 8pm, attracted by the Trop advisor rating, plus the fact that two other restaurants we went to had stopped serving food! My Spanish is appalling, but we worked out that food service started at 8.30, so time to sit and have a drink. It was fairly quiet in the bar, so we had a look at the menu to be honest, we were looking for a light bite, rather than a full meal. They offer a €19.95 menu for a minimum of 2 people that offered 4 shared seafood dishes, and a fish or meat main course and a bottle of wine. The owner was really helpful, and through the medium of Google translate, explained what was available. He also did the same for an Italian couple who came in after us. I really appreciated this effort, unlike some on this forum who have complained about the lack of English being used. We decided on the fish mains and it was suggested we tried 2 different fish. Excellent idea! We had shrimps, clams, razor clams and calamari, followed by the fish and a very drinkable Rioja. We were then offered a choice of desert coffee. I think that this is very good value for what we had and would probably cost twice as much back in the UK. Also, the owners children were sat in the bar doing homework and talking to their dad as he was working. A proper family run place. I also liked the fact that the owner replies, quite robustly in some cases, to reviews. As he says, he could spend money on decor, but this is a simple rustic restaurant in a coastal resort and the money goes on the food."
