"We went there for sweets after dinner in the harbour and a stroll in the town. The location is good on the nice Place des Lices. When we arrived, the tables had not been cleaned, and the waiters seemed quite stressed. After a while, a waiter came to take our order, and we asked if they had ice cream and chocolate fondant. We did not see a menu. The chocolate cake was quite good, and the children loved it! Also ice cream and come were ok. When we wanted the bill, the waiter came with the bank terminal and no copy of the bill. He said the price was 54 Euros. I said I wanted to see what we pay for, so he must find a copy of the bill. Then he said the price was 51 Euros. When I asked for a copy for the third time, he was really pissed off, and went to the kitchen for a bill. He came back with it, only with general terms like "Hot drinks" and "desserts", and now the price was 56 Euros!!! Three different prices in three minutes :-)Even though the sweets were quite good, it is not worth being ripped off by amateur staff for 56 Euros for a dessert, not even in Saint-Tropez."

Waiter was rude. This made me uncomfortable the whole meal. Food was okay but it was not an enjoyable experience.

9 Euro’s for two cups of coffee! Felt utterly ripped off when you can get the same for half the price away from Saint Tropez View menu

Careful - tourists get ripped off by owner. Charged me too much for drinks - and I figured out later after I could not complain anymore. Don't go there.

Amazing! I think this is the place to be if you want to have a real french evening! The food is wonderful! You have the choice between meat or fish dishes

We toured the market and wanted something quick to eat. It would been more appealing to the eye if our breakfast came nicely arranged, mini baguette and brioche along with butter and two jams were simply thrown into a small basket. Service staff was not enough for the amount of tables. Told the waiter twice that we wanted to pay and still waited about 15 minutes. View menu

We stopped at this café for lunch firstly because of the location, a beautiful outdoor sunny restaurant on the Place des Lis at the end of October it was so enjoyable, the food was excellent we choose Ribeye steak which was at least 400g beautifully grilled with ready made chips and a pasta carbonara accompanied with a carafe of rose wine the homemade apple tart was delicious. The service was efficient despite extremely busy, we will for sure go back over the weekend.

We are a party of six looking for a quick lunch in St Trop. Once we had eventually attracted the attention of one of the staff , the food came quickly. The omelettes were great and the club sandwich reasonable, but the burger was tough and sandwiched in a bun that had seen service in a motorway cafe somewhere and was never sold - either that or it was at least a week old. Either way the bun was verging on inedible which made the burger dish the least enjoyable of the day. Good location and if you can put up with the usual "we really could care less" attitude of the staff that is so typical of the Côte d'Azur in the summer, then go for it - but avoid the burger and be prepared to pay for the...

"we had the 5 course menu, 1 normal, 1 vegetarian. the vegetarian was good but not up to the standard we experienced in similar establishments and not on the level of the non-vegetarian. waiters also did not mention it. it was just a small part on the bottom of the menu. we felt that's also about the appreciation it got from the chef. in our opinion, if u offer a vegetarian menu, it must be on an equal level as the rest of the menu. it wasn't (seems as if les légumes alone just are not much of an inspiration to the chef which clearly reflected in the courses). it wasn't bad but from a 3 star restaurant I expect fireworks even without meat; especially if the theme is provénce. the normal 5 course menu was good but the overuse of grapefruit started to annoy me after the second time 4 or so slices were used on my dish as it was way too sour, clearly overshadowing the other flavors and the note of sour even persisted through the coursesafter the palette refreshener which also contained some lemon notes came the dessert (kind of lemon tart) which was so sour that we both could not finish it. it was like a punch in the face after such perfectly and tastefully balanced 4 previous courses that explored familiar and unfamiliar flavor profiles and combinations (on a deserved 3 star level in my opinion - even though I missed obvious associations to la provénce). the rest of the desserts (which seemed to make up of 30%+ of the overall food volume; no idea why such an emphasis on sweet/sour for just a 5 course meal) couldn't help and were clearly on a much lower level as the rest of the food which was very disappointing to us. also, to be honest, lemon notes belong more to Italy than to the provence (google oops I dropped the lemon tart). all in all a mixed experience which started strong and gradually worsened. A bite into a lemon or grapefruit would have given me a purer taste of la provence if i wanted to explore the perfect sour note. service was excellent, excited and friendly. wine pairing good."
