Cafe Le Terrail - Menu

The view from the terrace is good if you get a table near the end wall. The lasagne was ok but a steak was no good. This place is probably a better bet for just a drink or lunch than dinner.

Nice place. Been twice. Staff are welcoming, even though hey are very busy. Enjoyed the food; particularly the salad nicoise, the chips, the ratatatoille the chocolate fondont. This is a place to visit for just a light lunch or a cold beer etc. The waiters are friendly but the owner behind the bar is quite rude. It is a family run business and they are all quite young which I'm guessing is there is no real substance to their business. It is not a place for dinner although the views are well worth a visit.

Fantastic views, friendly waiting staff but...Long wait for raw food. Response to complaint was: "this table has just been served and they waited for an hour!"Seriously, raw cod in hot weather is dangerous. They took it away and simply cooked it more; no thought given to a fresh plate.It's not that cheap that you have to risk your health. So many better places to go. Avoid!

We visited here as it does have a lovely view and was busy so we thought it would be good. How wrong we were! We ordered two lamb dishes and the waiter got the order wrong one lamb one beef. We said it would be ok as we didn't want to wait for another pice of lamb to be cooked. Both dishes were in edible. The lamb was just about raw despite asking for medium to well done. My husband ordered coffee and they even got that wrong. Don't bother plenty of other much better places! View menu

4 adults with 4 children (2 under 3) were made to wait 1h 30min for food. They set us. Take our drinks and food order, brought our drinks; then nothing for 1h 30min. No warning or mention of a long wait. Nothing for the kids. A bit of bread after 30min when we asked. All the others in the restaurant were served, eaten and left before the children got their. The service was polite, only massively unconsidered, and the slowest thing I've ever seen. The views can be amazing, the food could be 3 Michelin stars, but it is irrelevant when the service is so slow. I hope they learn and change their ways.

We had a drink at Le Terrail at noon and decided to make a reservation for dinner in the evening. The waiter was very friendly and prices are low, but the food was not very good. The vegetarian pasta was overcooked and there were hardly and vegetables, a pitty for a vegetarian dish. The lamb was ok, but too chewy. If you want a budget dinner it's ok, but even with the low price no value for money. We gave the feedback that the pasta did not had enough vegetables and as a result the pasta plates of the other guests were provided with more vegetables which is of course very positive so a moderate review from us!

After visiting the Friday morning market we decided to have our coffee before trying the accent tot he top of the hill church. We stumbled onto Le Terrail behind the market stars, and found a table inside. Their terrace outside looked perfect with a commanding...view of the lower town, and the provincial countryside for miles around. What a great location, but the wind was cold so we sat inside. Their building is interesting, since the ceiling decor must be from before the war. Very neat, and a large old fashioned bar. Service was fast, and our coffees came quickly.
