"We had dinner at Le Carré d’Ange on a Tuesday evening, end of September (i.e. very few tourists in the region). We kicked off with a nice glass of bubbles, and then went for the 3 courses meal: “fois gras” “Homard”, followed by “turbot” fish (both...of us), and as dessert the chocolate tarte tatin. To “flush” this super food down, we went for an excellent Pouilly fumeé (half bottle). The food dishes were nicely presented (very nice person who served our food), and in-between, there were several small bites. The price was correct for this high level restaurant. We strongly recommend this place!"

"Unpretentious restaurant in which we stopped at random, nice surprise both for the view and for the kitchen. On the dish of the day a beautiful and delicious pizza with truffled brie. Prices are honest and despite the location this restaurant does not look like a tourist catch. If we come back, we'll come back with pleasure."

"Value for money very correct. Plates cooked with passion and taste of detail (a little wait but it vaux the blow). Clean location and very kind server. Personally I took a fritto-misto to make my tourist base and I regret because, even if it was not bad, the plates taken by my husband and my son were really remarkable. For me, it's Canton's best restaurant for this budget. It is true that the location is not up to the type of kitchen but it is still nice. I look forward to testing the atmosphere this winter internally. Thank you, Eric!"

"A little of a mixed reaction. This restaurant is not far from where we are staying and so we tried it out for a St Valentin's Day lunch. The food was well prepared and cooked and is imaginative - nouvelle cuisine, so not large portions and a limited menu allowing it to be well prepared. The layout of the tables was good - not too crowded BUT no table cloths and paper napkins - if we had eaten outside the chairs are plastic - so more café style than restaurant. This could be said about the toilettes too. Disappointing for the prices being charged 16€50 for a salmon cutlet with one or two each of a medley of about 6 veg BUT very nicely flavoured and served. We imagined that much of their custom is passing trade. We sat by the window and so were able to enjoy views of the snow capped foot hills of the Alps and the Lac de St Cassien - with the mimosa along the terrasse. We'll go there again as if we ring first we can get fish and chips on a Friday! A good experiance but a little expensive perhaps."

"We are a 5-minute walk from Pasta Folie. We wanted a simple but good, fast meal. This place was found on Tripadvisor and it was excellent. Although small and beside a road (not a problem), the service was excellent, food (fresh pasta) was delicious and a very pleasant experience. Five meals, minerals, desserts and a bottle of wine for less than 50 €. We will definitely come back. Very recommended"
