"Paris is packed with hipster coffee shops and eateries. Some just look like the real deal, but they just picked the right font for their logo and kept their wooden interior bleached. When it comes to Café Oberkampf, i must say, they keep it small and real. A nice, minimal, but cosy interior in wood and white and a small but freshly made and diverse menu. Known for their coffee (they even invite guest baristas from time to time) you can go here for toast with salty French butter and home-made peanut butter or an Mediterranean shakshuka (warm tomato-sauce dish with eggs). As in a true hipster eatery the food is fresh (avocado avocado) and the coffee perfectly foamy, but the people take themselves very serious and smiling is not always the order of the day, and all of this comes with reasonably higher prices. But when in Paris, why not treat yourself once in a while? For Sunday brunches this place might be very crowded, so prepare to wait in line."

If you come in a busy time you will wait a table for 30-40 minutes. But be strong, you'll get payback - perfect fresh food preparing here on nano-kitchen, friendly girls team and good coffee at eventually.

Great place for brunch. The cafe is really cozy, food is really good as well as the coffee. The beans are from Beans of Fire which is a good coffee spot in Paris. I tried the cheese sandwich and it was really tasty. The banana cake is also really good. View menu

The place is quite small and you might wait a little to be seated but it's worth every seconds of it! The place is cosy, the staff super friendly and the food amazing! We went there for brekkie and weren't disappointed! I had ze best banana bread ever ♡

Two of us ate here for breakfast and quite enjoyed it. The space is small so you may have to wait for someone to leave but generally doesn't take very long. We waited slightly longer than expected for breakfast but received an apology. Would still recommend

Lovely place for brunch with friendly staff, but v popular and small so pick your time wisely or be prepared to wait a little. Get the Lost in Cheeseland toasted sandwich made with 3 types of cheese (then make yourself feel a little saintlier with a side serving of avocado). View menu

Part of the gentrification of a once pretty working class neighborhood, this small (tiny!) cafe is offering superb straightforward food and carefully sourced and prepared coffee. There's often a line out the door. Service is efficient, the kitchen is small, and did I say the food is superb? We had shakshuka for breakfast and it couldn't have been more tasty. Alas, as would be expected in a place that prides itself on the best coffee, decaf isn't anywhere to be found, but that was a small disappointment in an otherwise great start to our day.

I was here last Saturday morning with a friend. It's a cute little place I've wanted to try for a while, it was busy so we put our names down and about 20-30 minutes later we were seated. The food came out quickly, I got the green eggs, and my friend got the 3 cheese toastie and avocado on toast. The three cheese toastie was insane! Just so flavoursome and absolutely delicious!! The green eggs were lovely too, maybe needed some more feta to break it up but a nice warm breaky! The atmosphere reminded me of brunch in Melbourne. The staff were friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back!
