"After you get off the U-Bahn (subway) at Wahring Strasse stop, head just a few blocks down Wahring Strasse and Wilder Mann is on your left. My husband had Schnitzel Cordon Bleu with fries and a salad, and I had pork medallions with asparagus risotto....It's asparagus season here and so I usually gravitate toward anything with asparagus and I love risotto. This did not disappoint! Although it's a smallish place and looks more sports bar like, the food was superb. The schnitzel was crispy and large, and the risotto was some of the best I've had. The service was friendly and we would definitely eat here again! Both dinners plus two drinks about 36 Euros. Very reasonable."

This is a local restaurant just north of the Zentrum on tram 41. The quality of the food was very good and prices were reasonable, especially when compared with those in the which cater to tourists. The waiter could speak enough English to help us...decide what we wanted.

Alt-Wiener backhendl, gordon bleu and Spare-Ribs sensational.A more modern version of a gediegene Alt-Wiener gas house. quite recommended since the re-acquisition a few years ago has had more than positiw. For summer, the huge gastronomic garden is a hot cool tip!

We had our schnitty fix in Vienna here. The schnitzel loved up to our expectations as did the ribs. The waitress was very friendly and helped us chose from the menu that was all in German.She had a good laugh at me when I asked...for sausage, they call it bratwurst here. It was our little joke all night. Good place for the local cuisine.
