"We've been to Manin St. Wendel for a long time. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. What I'm talking about was the indication that it could take a bit of food because we arrived before the kitchen opening time. We had reserved for 18:00, but were already there at 5:45. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait long. The Bruschetta was brilliant, really fresh and tasty. The pizza was okay, but it doesn't have to admit it comes to an original Italian pizza ran. The dough was a bit too thin and not a big one. He also tasted slightly sweet. But it wasn't bad. The zucchini spaghetti were also very good. So we like to come back."

Since the manin has a new owner, the price performance ratio is absolutely top and the food tastes great. Now the concept also fits St. Wendel and does not feel like in St. Tropez...more so! View menu

The time between the rounds of the All you can eat flame cake has taken too long and the taste was partly strange. Lachs kind of tasted sweet and on the sweet flame cake was not really what was on the map...

It was very loud and very full. The service was clearly overwhelmed. Due to the Easter market, prices were clearly attracted, with our dishes some 4€ per dish! The noodles and fries were very salty. Baby bread could not be made warm.

The food was very delicious, salmon, rolls, scrambled eggs excellent!!!!! The service was super friendly, we felt comfortable. Only the price we find too high for the good but manageable buffet. At this price, there should be at least coffee, a water or O juice. If it were included, we would come more often. View menu

The dishes on the buffet were very good qualitatively and quantitatively. rolls, cereal, fruit, yogurt, jam, sausage, cheese, salmon, antipasti, (choco) croissants, agitator, bacon, ... what more you want. However, the price is too high for the fact that neither juice belongs to the buffet nor a coffeeflat is offered.

A very nice restaurant with a wonderful ambience in the downtown of Sankt Wendel. Even on a Sunday, where sales was open and an art market took place, we still got a nice place at 12:00 for two people. We had self-made iced tea as Mango peach. The food was quick and delicious. My son had a Championrahm carving with pommes. A really good big portion. I had a flashcake with smoked salmon. The floor was super thin and it was not saved on smoked salmon. All in all, we'll be back.

"For us, this restaurant is the best Greek in the area of great food, great ambience, great location. The restaurant is located directly on the market square, in the beautiful city centre of Sondershausen, near the castle park and the castle complex. The restaurant itself is located on the lower floor almost in the basement and also offers many outdoor seating. The seats outside are all covered with spacious parasols that make sitting very pleasant and cozy. The restaurant is both exterior and interior modern and everything was very clean and appealing. The menu is varied and the prices are absolutely appropriate. The most beautiful we found the salad buffet, which was manageable, but not only (as so often) consists of leaves, cucumbers and tomatoes, but also delicious things like salad of green beans, thick bean salad and herbal salad. It is worth visiting these Greeks alone. The waiting times for food are neither too short nor too long, the waiters are all pleasantly friendly and attentive, without being noticeable. The Corona rules were implemented very well. The waiters wore a mouth nose cover and on the salad buffet it was observed that even the guests go to the buffet with mouth protection and disinfect the hands beforehand. All in all, we felt very comfortable, which obviously wasn't just us. We had a nice evening, with delicious food and definitely like to come back."

Gasthaus Zum Ochsen

Gasthaus Zum Ochsen

"this establishment applies not only to the old wood milicle but also to the gasthaus zum ochsen, for the first time mentioned in 1620 original and thus the oldest gasthaus in the saarland. the hodenless hornviech was, after the last halali had already blown him and it was on the straight away in the eternal hunting grounds, after a longer break in the last minute the gastrotod jumped from the slop. in early summer 2019 was reopened with a new operator. my wife and I are usually twice a year in sankt wendel: to the Easter Market and the Christmas Market. out of the series there are at this weekend around the so-called dom the market lifestyle art and crafts . my wife reached yesterday someone in the ochsen ; this is in the internet on the side of St.Wendel to eat and drink [here link] for a long time. so for today 13 o'clock flight a table. because in almost all market visits we liked to have eaten in ochsen, provided that it was not long-lasting for disease. ambiente: first the only positive: you can sit out now. now the negative: while in the next room a metzgerladen the unrivalled ambiente has remained largely, in the main room there has been some work to do with the demolition. the devotional and relics from over 100 years of Saarland motor sports history plakate, photos, autograph cards, certificates, pokale etc. as well as small paintings etc. are all gone; for this there are a few photos, among them two of the former reaped civic master bouillon, who, as a citizen master too old, now must be end stored as saarlandese interior, sport, construction ministers the charm of the ochsen, the flair, the cosyness and the all-imaginative feature as the most original guest house of the city are irreplaceable. it has become uncomfortable here; more than one and a half stars I can't give for the ambiente at best. P.S., while the women's world finds the toilets that they thought to them without problems thanks to the corresponding signs, the men literally tap into the dark, unless they have visited the ochsen several times: no sign, no nix! cleanliness: everything clean, even the toilets that had come to years. Five stars. service: first, a clearly overwhelmed waiter acted here; it hapered both with the coordination which guests have ordered when what, how do I bring what to the hospitable as well as to clear and contenance. before he got into the hurricane completely, a blonde dame, apparently the wetin, turned into the happening. a waiter was fancy and she at least ironed the coarsest carvings of her only force before a short-term hired help from the serviceduo made a servicetrio. as the waiter who helped her work area, we got acoustically. it was as if the blind one-eyed one-eye told something about the color. as by magic hand, suddenly another person stood behind; from there it went more fleeting. Nevertheless, it is an absolute unding if the supplement salads are already brought to the table while the thirsty folk waits for the longest drinks ordered. until the already drowned and servier-ready on the road standing the way from there to the hospitable, some scum had already been stuck in itself. that the service may be busy and quick to work at full service; my assessment is a momentary recording and the service was just bad and therefore not worth more than one and a half stars. Eating and drinking: the ochsen had a very good concept and had only a small but fine card, has now been culinary rather the wild growth. there were really the rearmost corners to be able to use as many different tastes as possible. that the ochsen is thus classified as any gastro inconspicuously among many similar or similar, the new operator is obviously completely indifferent. my wife drank after a long waiting period a small apple choir 0.4l eur 2.20 , I got an early crumb from the barrel 0.2l eur 2.00 , after eating again one and in between to eat a primitivo 0.25l eur 4,00 .the crumb, especially the second, tasty fresh; I have the primitivo in memory with something more wumms. Well, we were already happy to have something in the glass. we had dispensed with and dessert, possibly in wise premonition. my wife had ordered as main dish cream carving with champignons, salat and pommes eur 13,50; for me there was a breast of a chicken with curry vegetables and cocos milk, rice, salat for eur 17.50. carved with sauce over it; in contrast to my wife, I don't like it at all and chicken were really good, the pommes too and my curry vegetables consisted not only of sweet but also of grapes. fine! were not fine, however, the supplemental salads; although fresh and not from the ice, but were dry for it. only at the bottom of the barrels there was a mini cup dressing. this is much better. only the ordinary meat of wutz and squeal helps eat and drink to three stars. price / performance: in frame, four stars. Conclusion: this ochsen is de facto no longer our ochsen; we will avoid it from now on. I could recommend him in a good sense earlier, he is no longer worth it in the new wall."
