"“A bar that allows dogs sometimes” Ladies and Gentlemen good evening, I would like to be followed in these 3 brief arguments as this evening we were not accepted by the owner in this bar for a quick hot chocolate (maximum 20 minutes) because we were accompanied by our golden retriever puppy, which, having no human hands, is not managed to bring an umbrella, but still wore an elegant coat to protect him from the light drizzle. Unfortunately, the head was slightly damp, mea culpa, but that 's not what makes a dog stink. (Reasoning referred to in point 2) 1. Will a dog, with a wet head, in 20 minutes, ever be able to make a room measuring around 200m2 stink? Very simple answer, absolutely not. 2. Having only a damp head (naturally we would have removed the coat leaving the dog totally dry if the welcome had been worthy of being called such as we were welcomed from a distance hearing squawks that wet dogs stink); Would this poor dog have managed to get more wet than we do human shoes arriving from outside? Equally simple answer, absolutely not. 3. Following the same reasoning, after a padel match I couldn 't go to the Nazionale to eat a pizza before going home to take a shower because I stink ? At the last minute we were asked to sit somewhere near the exit, if we wanted, but naturally, given the courteous initial treatment, we didn 't even take the proposal into consideration. I understand that €12 or how much two chocolates might cost at a bar doesn 't make a difference, but here it 's about kindness and friendliness with the customer, no matter how small. I want to hope that it was a bad day, and the arrogant tone was mainly due to that. Also because we have always had a good time in this bar with the guys who work there. Historic venue in Piazza del Duomo in Lodi completely renovated in a modern style.....but a bit of nostalgia remains remembering how it was several years ago. Excellent restaurant that was recommended to me by locals. High level service and very good dishes. I also took the typical Lodi dessert to take home, prepared directly from the Caffè Nazionale pastry shop. Terrible and poor service. They asked me to pay immediately before eating breakfast at the table, asking me to get up and go to the cash register to pay with the cappuccino that had just arrived. Annoyed by the rude manner, I left my card and they charged me more than the amount on the receipt. I will never go back again and I highly recommend this place. Service: Dine in
