Delicious food and the waiter Oliver did a fantastic job of hosting us, very welcoming and made a great atmosphere

Fantastic. The staff were friendly and polite. I was impressed how quickly the food came out and the food itself was very tasty I had the squid for starters, steak for main and sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

Great atmosphere and tasty food. Attended with my partner as part of a spa package and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our waitress Ruby W was incredibly accommodating throughout catering to my partner’s Gluten Free allergies.

Me and my fiancé visited Calverley Grill for our wedding menu tasting. The restraunt is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. We cannot compliment our server Carlos enough for the fantastic job he did not only for his friendly demeanor, but also making recommendations and giving advice for our food choices as well as making us feel special. My partner and I stayed at Oulton Hall and had our first dinner there. We both enjoyed the tasty starters - I had the squid and he had the halloumi. For our main course, we both ordered the steak which was delicious. The portion sizes were just right for us. The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely and peaceful, we really enjoyed our dining experience. Overall, it was a very nice place for dinner.

The kitchen at this restaurant seems to not prioritize consistent quality, likely because the hotel caters to many customers who are dining there for the first time and may not return. I ordered a £34 rib-eye cooked medium, but it arrived well-done. The replacement steak was not medium or medium rare, but rather "bleu". While I personally enjoy rare beef, only about half of the steak met my preferences. I regret taking the risk and would recommend sticking to safer and more affordable menu options at this restaurant.

We dined with friends and were disappointed with our experience. Our friends, who had eaten there before, mentioned that the food quality had declined. We all ordered the ribeye steak, which was not up to par. We had to request water three times before it arrived. The overall standard of the food did not justify the prices. During breakfast on our first morning, we found a dead dragonfly among the tomatoes, which we had to bring to the attention of the staff.
