Great local with a view of the Gulf of Baratti. We tasted the mussels, a risotto of fish and spaghetti with real clams from screaming. Friendly staff is available. To try absolutely.

For many years I frequent populonia and the gulf of baratti but for various reasons I had never tried the restaurant canessa. I have to say it was a good discovery. with the gift of synthesis I sum up my fantastic location review, you like a really wonderful view. simple service but very nice and pleasant, precise and professional. dishes well made with the right innovation, good portions honest price. really a good experience, a sin that the local will be closed from November to spring. I hope next year, when I get back to the reeds, to find all this.

We were three people and we fixed Saturday at lunch. I would start by saying that the restaurant is very well maintained and renovated on an old tower building. When we arrived we could park in the free parking of the restaurant with bar. The inner room where we maangiato, well maintained and with sea view. The very comfortable menu readable by QR. After ordering, the food arrived shortly after and we enjoyed incredible dishes. An excellent recommended white pecorino wine has confirmedtwo the attention to the combinations. To finish some delicious desserts. In the end you don't spend little (about 60€ per head) but it's really worth it!!! Recommended. And we'll be back! !

I admit that the programs were others but when we parked the car to spend our day in canoe we thought it would be perfect to have dinner in this restaurant which boasts a fabulous location on the gulf of baratti a few meters from the sea! Despite the restaurant being fully our orders were taken almost immediately and we did not wait too long to eat. we ordered a warm sea salad and an ombry. the sea salad is simple but made to art, abundant cooking of cuttlefish and perfect octopus, without frills but much goto. fresh and cut in the right size. during our appetizers we appreciated and enhanced the dishes with the extra virgin olive oil really remarkable, considering also that being in August...
