well ,as italian i have been in many awfull italian...ish restaurant edinburgh,fife, glasgow) but in Dunfermline Fife !!!!!!!!!,there's is this littele Jewell restaurant,attentive staff,friendly and professional,posh decor,chill space,modern,i had a Carbonara and was really good,the house wine was good quality,think the best was the homemade tiramisu',so my experience for the first time was 11 out of 10

Couldn’t decide where to eat in Dunfermline so plumped for Carlucci’s. Haven’t been for ages. Food was amazing, service also and the restaurant is lovely. I had caprese salad, lasagne and profiteroles. My partner had bruschetta and polo picante. I would say this is the best meal we have had in Dunfermline for as long as we can remember. I went on Saturday before a show at the theatre with my 9 year old son and my mum. The restraunt has a lovely atmosphere as soon as you enter. The girls were so friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing and the pre theatre menu is such a reasonable price and there is plenty of choice. We all enjoyed our experience here and will definetly be back if we are up that neck of the woods again. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely food and service. I had a problem in my flat with no power, I needed to charge my phone a little. They were super nice to me and helped me in my situation. Very good attention from the staff. In other hand I ordered Tortelli allá Zucca that was spectacular, the pasta was perfect cooked and the sauce was delicious. I decided to have dessert and ended the night with a Red Velvet cheesecake that was very good presenter. It is a very recommended restaurant with good prices, good food and an amazing staff.

Found this great Italian whilst searching for somewhere suitably coeliac friendly for lunch when visiting friends in Dunfermline for the day. The website assured us they offered gluten free pasta and pizza bases and we weren’t disappointed. Very nice and helpful staff and delicious food all of which went down very well. The gluten free we had was very good and they did not rush us. Puddings went down well although you’re limited to ice cream and one other if you’re GF, but my daughter’s ice cream sundae was huge and delicious! Would just suggest offering a gluten free garlic bread. A lot of Italian places use the gluten free pizza bases with garlic butter. Always goes down well with us. View menu

My friend and I had a lovely lunch here yesterday. The restaurant was fairly quiet as we came in at end of lunch period. We were attended by two lovely waitresses Alisha and Rebecca, both of them very friendly and attentive. We both had the minestrone soup which was very tasty. My friend had the Arrabiatta, which she said was lovely. I had the gluten free Margarita, which I greatly enjoyed. Would be great to have had half pizza and half pasta dish (just a wee suggestion, an Edinburgh favourite offer this) However must mention that it’s great to have a restaurant who makes big effort for us Coeliacs, which is not always the case, so big thank you to owners and Chef for that! It is very easy to be biased when a restaurant is only ten minutes walk from your home, however, there must be 20+ that would fall into this category, so why is Carlucci 's special. Let 's start with the service! We are regular visitors but we observe the same consistent and friendly service being received by everyone so there are no favourites they are genuinely pleased to see everyone! If you have the pleasure of meeting Carla you are in for a treat. The food, this is simple, honest and flavourful, with a great choice of food for everyone (a separate vegetarian and vegan menu is available as well as catering for other dietary requirements). Originally intended to have a full meal however this didn't go to plan. Service was a bit slow to start with but it was fairly busy and the waiting staff were polite and apologised for the initial delay so we were okay with this. Starters came out fine and we enjoyed the food however around 45 minutes passed and no one had been near us so we had to ask about our mains which were not ready yet. Unfortunately we had plans so needed to leave before we got the mains so paid up for what we had. Overall, we were in the restaurant for well over an hour and a half so really disappointed.
