"We ate here with our two sons (ages 11 and 13) and agree that this was one of the best meals we have ever had. The menu is somewhat fixed (3 HUGE appetizers to share), choice of 4 entrees, and dessert (and a bottle of wine), but everything was delicious. The appetizers we had were a truly fabulous octopus salad, peppers stuffed with cod in the most scrumptious sauce I have ever tasted, and shrimp with rice (excellent). Three of us had the rabo de toro entree (delicious) and one person had the fish (also wonderful). Our waitress was absolutely delightful. We paid 20 euro/person a meal of this quality in the U.S. would easily be $80/person. It was worth the trip to Toro just to eat at this restaurant. The restaurant appears to only be open for lunch, and it is worth planning your schedule for the day so you can eat here. Do not miss the opportunity to eat at this restaurant!!"

Nuestra primera vez en Toro desde Navarra y comimos aqui de maravilla. Un restaurante muy bonito, todos los platos riquisimos y mucha cantidad. La camarera que nos atendió un encanto y muy atenta y amable. Con ganas de repetir...gracias!!!

Tras la visita a la bodega, fuimos a comer a este restaurante Menú cerrado, degustación. Raciones generosas y todo muy bueno. Simplemente decir que eche de menos un plato de cuchara (una sopa, garbanzos.... Por lo demás todo muy bien Te sirven dos vinos diferentes a los que has probado en la bodega y los dos muy buenos vinos.

It was the first Sunday of September and the Edades El Hombre 2016 was being held in Toro, Zamora. This exhibit is about Water or agua as part of Catholic religious practice. Come lunch we decided to hit, Carpe Diem! By Spanish standard 25 euros per person for a meal is a splurge, but when we came to think about the number or dishes and the good wine that was served and the friendly restaurant employees that catered to us, we think it was worth every penny!
