"Not a place you can easily find. Certainly not a place you would expect a great restaurant, it being the place to eat at the tennis club. Also in the restaurant you will be given a bog standard German menu. Just ask the waiter for the Italian specials of that day, because depending on what the chef can find fresh in the morning that is what he offers in the evening. . I have eaten in many Italian restaurants, Rebot in Milan was very special. Gamberoni al forno on the harbour at Populonia. In Italy you also do not need to pay a lot for good food. It can be the best in the world, but so seldom outside of Italy. Generally like most ethnic cuisines they morph into the bland tastes of the host country. Not in Casa del Tennis. It helps if you can speak a little restaurant Italian and have a very good memory (it isnt written down) . What you will get will transport you into the heart of Italy. Also you don't have to play tennis"

One of the best food experiences I've ever had in eating Italian food. The service was good even if it was a busy evening. You will have a vaste choise of dishes and the portions are big enough and at the end you will be satisfied.

my wife and I were randomly in marburg. he asked a bartender to recommend a restaurant. we take the taxi to a tennis club and make one of the best Italian meals I had outside italian. they have made us a few pasta that were hot powdered and rolled in a wheel of parm that we are still talking about. if you're close, go.

This is the big thing in the sleepy town of Cappel, a new pizza place. When we arrived for dinner on a week night, the place was half full. It took us a good 10 mins for a menu to be given to us, another 10 mins for our order to be taken and another 30 mins for the food to be delivered to the table. We can see through to the kitchen, there were several ‘chefs’ but yet orders seemed to be delayed. Our bruschetta and pizza were good, tasted fresh but not exceptional. Service was slow and the waiter didn’t give me my change back; I admit it was EUR0.50 but it was a matter of principle. I would have left it anyway but with the waiter assuming I didn’t want the change back really annoyed me.
